The first two photos are the same two sets just switched around I made these for Privateer Press a while back . The third shot is the start of a photo set I am making for myself with a 40K theme . I will post more photo's as they come .

Here is some more steps on making a small photo sets . You can also use this to make terrain I hope this helps you out .
[Thumb - IMG_1588.JPG]
Cut your stone work with a scalpel .

[Thumb - IMG_1585.JPG]
Now cut your cross sections .

[Thumb - IMG_1593.JPG]
It will be hard to see you cuts so Grab a pencil .

[Thumb - IMG_1622.JPG]
using a pencil you will make those cuts wider . A pencile works best because the graphite acts as a lubricant .

[Thumb - IMG_1595.JPG]
Now you need to add texture to the stone work . I am using kitty litter .

[Thumb - IMG_1596.JPG]
You can mash it in with your hands .

[Thumb - IMG_1605.JPG]
I made this tool to fit the size bricks I made .

[Thumb - IMG_1609.JPG]
Take the tool and add depth to the stones .

[Thumb - IMG_1617.JPG]
This is the effect you will get .

[Thumb - IMG_1619.JPG]
So the next step is painting .

wow... that is sucha cool looking and very effective tutorial on making brickwork... the extra added texture due to the kitty litter is just plain awesome...and we do use this way to often but that sure ringed my bell! i am rather shocked... i need to do that too...and this small brick shaped stamp to get some bricks lowered...brilliant idea mister!
