After doing a count on all my paints. After the end of this week I will have 286 usable pots of paint which will mean that I will have $1072.75 Worth of paint collectively over the Vallejo, P3 and Citadel ranges that I own.

lol. I have so many colors some I only used like once lol. Some I might never use again which is sad

If each pot of paint is 3.75 and you "say" you have 80k worth of it and even if you are a store owner and assumed to have somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 racks filled with all these paints. That would mean that you would have 21,334 Pots of paint which would put you at a grand total of $80,002.75

Even if you had 10 stores located in the largest and most populated cities in the world with a Rack of paint of the new and old GW range from every range GW has done since the beginning that is absolutely full you would still not have enough to fill that order you mentioned.

Haven't bought much, recently, so I imagine I paid a bit less for any given bottle than the current going rate. I've got 15 bottles of VGC, a dozen GW pots (plus a few duplicates, but I didn't buy those, personally), a few bottles of various mediums, about 60 bottles of assorted craft paints (gifted to me by a retiring arts-and-crafts enthusiast, although most can be discounted, as only a handful ever touch models), and ten cans of various sprays, both paints and varnishes.

All told, I'd guess I've personally spent under $200 on paints, brushes, and related products. Seems pretty insignificant when spread over four(ish) years, but it's suitably scaled down, due to how infrequently I paint.

Even if I were an inhumanly prodigious painter who stuffs his couch cushions with spare twenties for lack of a more pressing need, I doubt I could justify dropping a grand on paint. I get by well enough with ~30 different paints and would consider myself very well stocked with twice that. Doesn't anyone mix colors anymore? Using a pot only once seems almost criminally wasteful.

I would guess, sitting next to me. 50-60 dollars of GW paint.

Every paint not just GW combined? I would say minimum of $500 CDN

So far, 37 pots of GW paint at $6AU a pop, which comes out to... holy smokes, $222.

About.. 90 bottles of paint P3 and GW. Thats more than enough i suppose.

I have like 30 bottles including washes and inks so what's that about $110ish, I mix colors a lot so I don't wind up with 200 pots of paint

Lets see, one of each of the P3 paints, a slew of artist oil paints, acrylic paints, and a rather large rack of automotive airbrush paints averaging between $10 and $80 per bottle... Too much.

I've got at least 50 pots of Vallejo Model, and nearly 100 reaper masters, plus lots of odds and ends.

I'd guess full replacement price would be close to $700 or so.

A lot of it was bought for cheaper, of course.

Got about 60 ish pots of GW colours still workable; about 25 of the line just going out, the rest from years gone by - some are from the 80's! I had a clean out and threw away dried up pots of just about every shade that existed when it was screw top pots too!
About 10-15 bottles of Liquitex acrylic inks,
A big storage box full of w&n artists acrylics 250ml bottles
Lots of mediums and additives,
another storage box of 100ml bottles of airbrush colours - about 30 colours
A full set of w&n indian inks
.... and thats just whats at/around the desk eep! I'm not going to price it...but definatly over 500, yet i still plan on buying more :S crazy!

Full set of valejo air, valejo color , dip, gw paints some pots twice. 300 euro?

I'm thinking somewhere in the region of £200, which is far too much for someone who can barely finish a squad.

Started with GW, didn't get on, went to vallejo, like most colours, VMA for the metallics and now MSPHD, which I can't rate highly enough.

I also have about £50 tied up in oil paints and acrylic mediums, maybe another £50 in brushes.

In a way I'm hoping these new GW paints aren't very good because it's my last year of University and the governemnt teet is about to go dry.

What I've bought over the course of a 17 year hobby is a little insane to calculate... I did it once with miniatures about ten years ago and it was staggering.
Right now, I likely have about 100 bottles of Vallejo stuff (between the two lines), most of the P3 line, and about half of the old GW line. There are some Reaper paints mixed in for good measure, too. So, you can do the math if you like.

I haven't actually counted but about 40..I don't paint much!

I just bought the Vallejo Game Color case.

200 plus 2 other bottles of VGC paint. So about 206 in paint.
A couple cans of primer and a can of varnish ~12.

Thinking of investing in an Air Brush depending on how involved I get.

I grossly underestimated. I would say. 150-200$ of paint

As the GW paints ran out, they were replaced with Vallejo if it was a colour I was going to need again.
Apart from the handful of GW washes (6 pots of devlan mud, one each of blue, red and black), the rest are ALL vallejo now.

I have paints worth 60$, before i buy new i always check if I realy need them. I use Taustep ochre blood red skull white bleached bone bg metal chaos black scorhed brown goblin green and graveyard earth most. Im painting orks and my favourite Tau.

i stocked up on a few colours before the changeover. half way through an army would have been a horrible place to change shades. i probably have 120 pots, mostly GW and a dozen VGC.

I have around 800$ worth. All the GW paints "old set" as well as vallejo, reaper and off brands. Holy Crap!

About 100 bottles (GW, Vallejo, P3, Ral Partha) and I'm planning to get some of the new GW paints as soon as the FLGS gets some stock.
