The cobble stone gleamed from the combination of rain and street lights that illuminated the storming night, yet the poor weather didn't faultier the coming and goings of the poor who scrambled to me deadlines or get to an opportunity that only appeared once upon a time, a job. The rails spark as the heavy carriage grinded against the metal track that automatically guided the vessel to its destination. Any who lingered too long in its way ended trampled while the peacekeepers shoved the onlookers forward and if they argued they found themselves with crushed skulls and broken bones. The ship above flew commercial flags as it flew the skies as its mirrored its hull to the sea faring versions of the 18th century. It mimic lightning as the hoover engines burned the recently caught solar storm energy caught by the prison mines that orbited only a few thousands miles from the sun using its own heat to fuel its shields. The white energy bursts quickly turned sickly green as the fuel cell was manipulated to hazardous levels, The ship stalled as the power room erupted in green radiation fire then fell with amazing speed as explosions of both the fuel cell and the ship's goods caught aflame.
Tens of bystanders were caught underneath but the hundred or so a few farther were caught by the emerald fire, a much more painful death in every aspect. The carriage wasn't spared as it flew off the rails that guided it, The mobile vault spilled a man of status who's hair has neared the end of balding and his noise couldn't possibly get anymore beak like. He gingerly picked up his glasses while he collected the clues on how his fortress was breached.
"Sir, are you alright?" a hand griped his shoulder but the style of greetings, the mannerisms of the voice, and the the amount of pressure granted by the hand suggested a peacekeeper. The aristocrat shakingly turned his head to not the royal blue and gold of a peacekeeper uniform but a stylized dark brown jacket and straps and a hooded face with gasmask designed to protect the noise and mouth. The most disturbing sight though was the man's eyes as the whites turned blood right with a deep sapphire blue iris.
"Who...What are you?" the nerved dead man said blatantly without a gram of fear as shock took hold from the sight of raging fires that raged around them.
"Doesn't matter." and with that he sank a dagger deep into his chest exactly where the victim's heart laid. The dagger's handled took form of a dark stallion that stood triumphant over the newly deceased governor of trade.

Welcome to ILI where the past meets the future.

The technology of has risen to farthest heights that ever been yet culture has reverted back to the days of colonial and Napoleon era. Technology has also echoed of things of old and cobwebbed filled, Guns except pistols have become single shot but more deadlier than ever, swords and pikes are now regular tools of the law enforcement. Now the Rich rule while families of kings and emperors regulate them and use them to their advantage. Now a group of all classes has come together to fight this culture yet no citizens join them and recruits are rare. Now they seem to force to alchemically change their bodies to keep with the physical demand of thier missions to take up the slack of manpower.

Powers come under three categories and you can create your own. Marie sues shall be terminated.
Psychical: Strength, speed, bone manipulation, what have you.
Mental: freeze time for a half a moment while you process every possibility, telekinesis, telepathy, ect
Influential: Think Jedi mind trick, memory eraser, senses manipulation.

These powers just don't come naturally and heck its untested so guess what
FLAWS:
Once people show interest I start the game. I'll post the character sheets if there are demands.

Tali'Zorah: I appreciate what you're doing here, Shepard.
Commander Shepard: Well, I care deeply about the quarian people.
Tali'Zorah: It's good to be back on the Normandy.
Commander Shepard: Let me know if it's too quiet for you to sleep, and I'll find you someplace louder.
Tali'Zorah: Hmm.
Garrus Vakarian: Uh, I was there when you two had your thing, remember? Just get a room and work it out.
