Hi there,

About 15 years ago, I started collecting and playing warhammer 40k. At one point I had orcs, Necromunda, Battlefleet gothic (chaos/nids), nids 40k, Chaos 40k, fantasy Chaos and blood angels. After countless moves and time I now am left with just one army, the blood angles, but even they were forgotten for serveral years in the back storage unit and It seemed then (about 6-7 years ago) that I couldn't just find a game as everyone had just started to swith to other table top stuff like flames of war, and that other mech game (forget what its called) this coupled with work, school and not being able to get together with my friends made it difficult so I packed them away, and just kind of forgot about them.

Fast forward to about 3 months ago. Me and my wife had been house hunting due to a new job far away and We found a new house to move into. After what seemed like an achelogical dig through my storage shed, I had found them, the last remaining army, unpainted mostly (well primed, with about 1/3 of it fully painted) broken, and well just sad to look at. But I decided to pull them out and after work, start painting again. Just one or two colors, maybe a squad or two here and there, becuase you see I plan on selling them and once the move is done, and maybe get back into the game.

I figure it will be perfect for me, the new job has weekends off, The house is new and ill have free time to do stuff on the weekend, and I am going to have to make new friends and find a hobby shop (more on that later) and 6th editions comming out, and With the selling of the old army (which, after regluging it together and seeing what i have, is huge) and using that as seed money for an idea I have. Anyways, I started to lurk the webs and visit sites, and i found myself wanting to play this game again. Even my painting has increased in voracity and depth and I find my self hungry for more. So, this is where I find this site and others like it. This site, seems however to the most part be very active, so, here I am introducing myself and my life history to you all to read. Weee fun, right?

Anyways, so about myself, im 35 and im moving to loma linda, california. Im looking for a new army to play, but Im going to wait untill 6th edition comes out before I decide which army I'm going to go go out and buy. However, I would like to know Where in Sothern california can I find a decent gaming shop? Hopefully some where in the inland empire area. We move in in mid may, and Id really like to start playing as soon as I see the new box set come out. Maybe ill go orks again, or from what I hear dark angels?

welcome to the hobby and just a suggestion, but its not really worth your time to paint your Blood Angels if you are going to sell them. In fact its probably better if you don't since you won't make any of the money back that you spent on paints.

I hope you keep your Blood Angels as I love them and they are my favorite army, but I hope you enjoy the hobby! Take care.
