Hello everyone!

First of all, I'd like to say thank you to anyone taking the time to read this. My name's Zach, and I've been interested in war gaming for longer than I can remember, more particularly watching my older brother and his friends play WH40K. I gave it a shot I think back in 3rd edition, but to be frank I really didn't have the attention span for it at the time. Well, recently my brother and I moved, I gave it another shot, and long story short, I have a new passion. I've always been a big fan of Chaos space marines, despite their apparently not-so-well aged codex, but I don't let that stop me from having a good time. More specifically I've been always been enthralled with the thousand sons, their 2 wounds back in the day caught my eye, and I've been hooked on their fluff ever since. I live in the small town of Lebanon, Ohio, but am easily within driving distance of Cincinnati. I played a very small tournament earlier today at a recently opened Games Workshop store, had a great time, and decided it's time I get involved with the rest of the community!

I've heard or seen that in more than one place for sure! Regardless of whether it comes true or not, I'm sticking with my dust-buckets. I love the fluff for them, and people are generally surprised when they find out i'm not running a khorne based chaos army.

and so far I've got a very sorcerery cabal of thousand sons. As far as models I've got enough to run a Daemon prince (heavily converted), 4 Sorcerer models to use as hq sorcerers or aspiring sorcerers, CSM in the process of being converted to 3 units of 8 sons (9 with sorcerer for fluffiness), a unit of possessed that I made out of old loyalist marines and bits, not that I'll ever use them, two dreadnoughts with DCCWs so they don't go crazed on me all the time, 3 rhinos, and 9 oblitererators to fill out my heavy support options. Oh! and I picked up a box of flamers to use as lesser daemons today. If I ever get around to writing up specific fluff for them, it'll probably be the Sorcerers have banded together, employed mercenaries (oblits) and summoned daemons to go on a quest for some artifact of knowledge and power. I'd run ahriman but it just seems too generic for thousand sons, not to mention he is a giant point sink.
