After leaving the girl you mind wonders go through the different possibilities of how these ruins came to be ruins. You begin to think about what had slain the elf's family and clan. You break the mental fog to deem it necessarily to be observant not wanting to be lost and unable to find your way out. You find yourself looking at a exit of the ruins surprised your mount naturally seemed to be trying to get out of the cursed land. Irritation itched your discipline as you nudge your mount to turn around.
But in the process you are flung by an unexplained force. You look up to see your horse slain and being currently devoured by a large beast undead in nature but reptilian in build. It easily held the beast of labor up with only its jaws but once its eyes trained on you. it let your faithful steed dropped to the cold stone ground. It hisses at you and with its breath you could smell the dangerous toxins. Its claws could rip a man in half with little effort.
The monster lunges at you with one claw outreach trying to ether grab you or slice you.

Even with all your skill you were unable to dodge the vicious assault from the scaled beast. Your side is wounded with a slightly sustain flow of blood and the smell of human made the monster even more tenacious. It tries to rip its hand out of the wall to get another swing at you

You awake in a tunnel, remembering what had happen to you and where you are were just out of reach of your current ability. You take a deep breath and stand up. If you were the size of a human you would be crushed. as you squeezed and dug your self out you found yourself in the midst of a clay avatar and a wolfman and the battle seem equal as both were in a stalemate

(Great so the first encounter I have kills my class feature :\)

Tyranic grimaces. The plate armour had been as nothing to the beast but his training told him that the armour would repair itself soon. The holy plate unwilling to remain damaged, it was his own body he had to worry about.

He picks up his sword from where it had fallen and sprints forwards ignoring the throb in his side. He takes advantage of the beasts incapacitation in the wall. By attacking on its blind side and stabbing his sword through the beasts head behind the ear.

Your Sword misses its intended target but instead slicing straight through its lower jaw. The beast is outrage and focuses, foolishly, on the wall that has entrapped its fist. when it frees itself it flees knowing that it now can feed needs to heal.
You feel defeated knowing not only had you failed at killing the beast you also had not had revenge the death of your mount.
"Don't worry about the Larcifiric, its beaten and it knows it. The others will devour it if it can't outurn its siblings." You turn to a see a larger than life shaved bald man with a amber gem in the middle of his forehead. "If you need a replacement horse i suggest using the ones that the elves left behind." and with that he leaped off the rubble and simply taking a moment to pause he punched the wall that the Larcifiric had failed to demolish and in a inferno of smoke and debris. The entire wall crumples over and a tiny herd of horses are revealed. once you turn to face the stranger he is gone and you are wondering if he was friend or foe.
