Huh, well that's a pity. I liked how we once had battleforces year round. They were nice sets.
Any word on how much they will be. The necron set looks good, and would round out my current collection nicely.

They're "while stocks last". Some will inevitably last into next year, possibly even to next Christmas and beyond.

BTW: Forgebane Immortals were on 32mm bases not 40mm.

Yeah, that's the one.
Does it look like these bases are on 32mm? They look a bit small to be that.

The overlord and scarabs are on 40mm, so yeah the others are 32s.

Huh, I guess you're right. Even the warriors seem to be on 32mm.

AdMech Battleforce is pretty good. Assuming they give us point fixes, you can at least make a good Mars army with three of them plus Cawl. Grab some Ironstriders for a Brigade. (If that's your thing.)

That confirms the IF sprue then. Looks like the extra gubbins are the power fist, backpack "lamps", and a moulded shoulder shield. If the other chapter sprues are anything to go by there will probably be a few heads in there as well.

The Power Fist Sergeant has a new head. He has the top of the helmet off and only has the facemask like the 500th Store Lieutenant.

Wasn't sure if any of the bare heads were new as I've avoided using them on my Primaris. Really tempted to get the box and paint them as Crimson Fists for Vigilus.

Maybe? I definitely would love to see it. The Last Wall sounds like it needs to be enacted at Vigilus.

Doubtfull, but never say never From freeze framing the Vigilus book trailer it looks like the IF and some of there succesors(I spotted the Crimson fists and the Sons of the Phoenix) have a presence if there is any tie in to the campaign.

I just watched the video in slow motion, and yup, the Crimson Fists are in there somewhere. Which is great, gives me a reason to get this book.

So the days of GW not releasing much in December are officially over. 25 different products and I want at least ten of them! We still have Wrath and glory and the vigilus stuff to come. I haven't started Necromunda or Titanicus yet but this month looks like the perfect time to start. Thanks beta testers!

I will be very interested to read some reviews of the Necromunda rule books. Specialist games got off to a rocky start in a variety of ways but their stuff is looking pretty good now.

I really hope the powerfist means intercessor options won't be split between chapters anymore. Especially if it means being able to take axes and stuff too.

What new codexes or game rules they are releasing? It's those gw has been sparse on december. Lots of army deals has been gw's modus operandi though. Biggest weirdness so far has been non-40k/fb/aos army deal.

Necromunda rule books, bloodbowl rules, City fight rules, a vigilus campaign book, chapter approved and Wrath and Rapture with two rule books are all confirmed to be coming in December.

Getting books is kinda like getting underwear or socks for christmas, you need them but you would prefer the nice shinny new toys.

books are collectibles you can't replace, while the models can just pass and come while changing armies or selling them on ebay
p.d. ... you technically can sell books, but are likely to not sell as much as cheap models

New full factions are pretty sparse all the time. This December has the most new releases coming than there’s been in a December for a long time.

The Techpriest? Was originally available in a "bundle" with a Russ kit but is now available as a blister. Don't think it's in any other bundles, they tend to throw in Dominus instead.

So again: what codexes are coming december? Those are what december traditionally has been void of

There're won't be any new army release in December. They need to rush thing out before they take a week off Christmas holiday.

next month is gsc ... then a nine month interval for anything prior to new sob ... which means either new armies, campaigns, boxsets, or pure unorthodox aos love
