Glowy? you mean sandy and burning sand

but yes, if i am to really run them as Possessed aswell as chosen i'd probably need to do so. ( i wanted them separated because i really liked to differ the Daemonic entity, i will probably also adapt the Decimator to look like that in some parts, like the eyes or some of the cables (core) and the chaos star bits growing out of it.)
(probably more often as possessed, in hindsight i like the scheme so much that i consider doing another theme army, out of a starter box. but i am at a point where i simply have too much CSM, also still need to finish Phyraxes warband, which i am also working on, the last squad of havocs is nearly complete. for that matter. (I am still laughing my backside off that i can even fit 50 + marines in the 2000 pts list fully equipped and field terminators and chosen aswell as havocs and a Decimator. Which is frankly just bonkers.


I also need to make a picture of the many phases of Phyrax, From Pirate, to termipirate, too Daemonkin pirate with broken Horn )

So finished the last squad. The last havocs so to speak.





And now this, This is the endproduct of my time of restarting my CSM. Say hello to 66 CSM, 9 HQ, 10 Terminators, 8 possessed, 1 Decimator, One DP engine, 5 chosen and 10 Havocs. Modell total therefore is 109 models most impressive for my pathethic skills in painting.

Phyrax as Daemonkin, Phyrax as Phyrax and Phyrax in Rage mode about an unnamed BA marine probably? he doesn't know and he doesn't care or does he. The former AL legionaire is hard to understand sometimes.



His personal command staff, with 2 sorcerers a DA of Khorne and Billious Roentgen, head of his ABC division, aka the supplier of radiation poisoning.



Then we have a terminator buddy of his and a warpsmith, mostly babysitting a rare decimator and the DP engine.




Roentgen and some of his irradiators.





The Backfield, 30 regular CSM with the big dakka.



The offensive units 20 more CSM with either choppy or short rangey loadout.



The real ehavy support, 6 AC havocs 2 ML 2 PG's a decimator and my little DP with daemonic axe, and potentially daemonweapon. (yes it is 4 kits in one, yes it has "wings" more like a turbine, still cooler then the regular DP)






Above 5 chosen with CB, babysitting and anti chaff duty, the termites are there for chop support, gotta say though, chainaxe Terminators are not really a laughing matter.
Finally, the Possessed or chosen depending on my list. 8 of them for maximum khorne daemonkin including the version of Phyrax acended, i'd also like to point out the broken off Horn, considering Daemons munch happily away on your soul i'd assume the more possessed you get the less care you'd pay for your looks.



Overall, i am happy with the army. it performs quite well, i got decent options and styles thanks to beeing a warband i also can just switch out what rules i want.

Probably the proudest part in there, the Phyraxes , all of them, the DP engine, Roentgens irradiators.... actually who am i kidding i prefer all of them regardless if i play them or just watch them in my vitrin.

Congrats on getting so much of the horde painted! I think my favorites are the ones I wandered over here for in the first place - Not-Abby and all his terminator buddies Love the minis but also how your scheme works on them.

I made the fault at the start of my chaos career to attempt to paint them as steel brethern, i messed up big time, i am still looking at things i may be able to recover. So this time i went for a simpler scheme, which has worked out great. AS for the termites, they have simething special about them in this scheme, aswell as with chainswords. shame they are no option.

Yeah, I think it’d work well as an ongoing theme and the templates should help with your sanity! Could be a good way to differentiate units by using different colours on the mark stencil

Na, the first template didn't work out, however, if i split the symbol in differing templates, like half / quarter circle and arrow, it does indeed work to a degree, atleast i now only need to clean the models up afterwards, making the process a lot easier to stomach.
Indeed i think i will also regular camo some rhinos like the gun shields just on a larger scale aswell.

Such a cursed thread, so many great vile creations. Love the ghostly visions you've made by painting your marines like that. Actually scary.

Got some good bad news for you then.
For one, this trains has no breaks, except conscription.
The good news? I ordered from my FLGS the following:
Starter box CSM, Possessed mostly for bits and a rubric squad. which will be used to expand the Cursed a bit.

Man your chaos army is huge and wonderful, I really like that conversion of the executioner he looks bad ass. Wish I had thought of that stencil idea for my rhinos, brilliant!

Finished the fieldguns. and made some grimey rhinos for grimey CSM.

Some kitbashed Rubircs to be bound and used as more CSM squads with Reaper chaincannons.

So, has anyone an idea how i should build my second MoP for my cursed? Toyed around in my head a bit, maybee a sorcerer?

Thanks. I started this one diffrently due to it beeing diffrently supposedly in material.

So, with monday, i will be able to get my hands on some smaller chains, now i just need to source a jumppack and i maybee can get an nice custom little MoP going and finally start priming..

And it's result. More chain then actual beeing these here serve as bsttery for the Chained.

I like the first one. The chain is a bit too big to know it's a chain on the second guy, looks more like a loop of wire for a hand...Maybe get several sizes of chain for different uses?

I do love the use of leds for heads - I'm going to steal that somewhere along the line.
