Hi Gobert - these guys will def get some paint, but think they may stay 'original' rather than get the 'Mad Dok' treatment. I've got a few other conversion projects bubbling along in the back of my mind and sometimes its nice to just paint things

I picked up this model as part of a job lot a while back. He was missing his head, which I tracked down for a couple of quid on eBay. Finally got around to assembling him and putting some paint down. I don't have an AM army for him, I just liked the sculpt, always wanted to paint one since I was a kid and finally got around to it this afternoon.

I've never painted a "human" model before, and this is my first time painting hair and stubble. I really enjoyed myself.

I'm not very good at photos so you can't really tell, but re: hair, to get the effect of a shaved head I just did less/thinner coats of flesh over the black basecoat (im painting quickly with just washes, no highlights) - your's looks awesome though, must have taken a while.

Since I've been working exclusively from the Pile of Opportunity almost everything I've been doing is OOP and Retro lol.

Back then GW used to release multiple slight variants of the same base sculpt, this is every variant of the same Aly Morrison mini, from the OH4 Ronin Renegades and OH5 Oriental Champions ranges.

A grot bomb from Forgeworld's Ork range. It was an E-bay purchase so I don't have the wartrack-based launcher that went with it. I noticed that this kit is no longer listed on the FW website, so I thought it would fit in here.

My painting project for the month. Two of them were part of my BA army and getting transferred to my Ultras, but the captain has never seen paint.

No, unfortunately it didn't come with the banner pole but one of the other Terminators I got had a banner pole which I might use even if it's not the right one.
