Round 3 of my escalation round robin with a couple buddies is going down in a few weeks. Its painted
wysiwyg, with one proxy of some sort allowed. So, I'm limited by my models and especially the fact less than a quarter of the infantry are painted. For melta and plasma I only have two meltaguns, one plasmagun, and one plasma pistol, so mechvets are out. I've got one
PW commie and a power weapon on a sprue, so I plan on converting one more for a powerblob - but no multiple powerblobs. Tons of heavy weapons, and a motor pool consisting of:

HB (could be a boat with a

So far I'm playing against vanilla marines and orks. The marine player likes his vehicles and the ork likes his mobz and koptas. They both have lots of stuff though, so anything is possible really, especially the marines. Heres the links to the 500 and 600 point lists with mini battle reports:

These three vehicles performed well at 650pts, and this time I have a powerblob to back them up. He likes to charge his captain at me, we'll see how he likes that. I'm also thinking I may attack - last time he ran dual whirlwinds, so a big conga line powerblob attack shielded by vehicles may throw him off a little. Reduce the damage to the blob while getting the russ in
LoS of the whirlies. He's never faced a powerblob - I've proxied one at times vs. orks and blood angels.

I'm going with the demolisher because he's coming at me anyways, it has rear armour 11 (he hasn't put a klaw on a kopta yet), and with only one lascannon I want backup in case of battlewagons. The vets in the chimera I think will do decent damage to a kopta squadron, having 2x s7, 6x s6 (mobile), and 3x s5 shots for 11 shots at 24" with everything but the
ML at ap4. Although generally i ignore the koptas if a mob attack is coming, I want that capability in the list - it would also be decent against trukks. I'm not going to try a single power blob against them - i'm going to speedbump the infantry squads.
