So for whatever reason my LGS decided to run a 1250 tournament so all the kiddies can play. Ive had a hard time cutting down 600 pts from both my Necron and Daemon tournament lists. So far I think this is what I like most in the Lightweight division. CC always welcome.

Right now my main worry is 1) Lack of scoring units (size of those units as well) 2) Only have 1 Solar Pulse in here right now dont know what to drop for another 20 pts....

2 Lances in the Ghost Ark with the warriors, can help with AV and move the squishy unit of warriors around for objective capping etc.
The Lord on foot with Phaeron is letting with the immortals letting them walk and shoot their gauss weapons, and the tremorstave tek and veil tek are in there as well for mobility and slowing incoming assaults (fingers crossed this unit doesnt scatter off the table...... The Wraiths will help contest and tie up any hard units as wraiths usually do, and the scarabs are there hoping there is something nearby to tarpit or chew on (6 is a lot less than I like to take.). Annihilation barge is semi AV and just a big help in general. The Lord in the barge is AV and hopping out when need be, we all know they can be a giant Pain...

All in all its 3 Armor 13 vehicles (sort of), few fast units, lacks of troops, and a lot of points sunk into hq and RC choices. Without the second pulse Im only getting turn 1 of night fighting which helps but isnt as nice as 2 turns of it since I have the HoD teks to really do it.

To be honest I never play 1250 so I dont really know what to expect from other players either, which makes building a list for it even tougher...

Where are all your Harbinger going?

Assuming the Phaeron with the ResOrb will be going with the Immortals, I would consider dropping a Warrior out of the Ark, as well as the Weave and Mindshackle Scarabs from the Barge-Lord. With the freed up points, get another two Immortals (you want as many guys as you can benefiting from that ResOrb) and a 3rd Whip Coil for your Wraiths.
(alternatively, you could get another Solar Pulse and add only one more Immortal)

the 2 Lances are in the ghost ark with the warriors, the tremorstave and veil are with the immortals as well. Just have to hope to god that troop doesn't scatter if I end up veiling out. I could definitely drop one of the weaves. Id feel a lot more confident with 2 pulses so perhaps Ill add another and and an immortal.

I like your red Necrons, very cool.

I don't think you need weave and mindshackles on the Overlord on the barge. Reason is that Barge should be moving flat out, so the Overlord shouldn't be in combat too much. That's some points saved there for the second pulse. I would only get the wargear what you have if you had points to burn.

I think the single units i.e Annihilation Barge, Scarabs, Ghost Ark and Immortals etc are all begging for trouble. Reason is because they are single units. At this points level you could easily take two Anni Barges.

I think also that if you're running anything on foot then it needs a decent size in numbers.

I don't see much point in the Ghost Ark, not a lot of Warriors to regen and really is only adding armour numbers, which I would go for a Annihilation Barge.

ya I agree with dropping some of the wargear to get in more points.

The mentality for the Ark was 1 yes its still a threatening presence having 3 Armr 13 vehicles on the table at low points. ALso to make one of my only 2 scoring units somewhat mobil and protected to either camp an objective or move across the table, along with keeping the Pulse/Lance teks protected so I don't have to immediately rely on 4+ saves, and focus fire on the first few turns.

I agree though adding a few immortals to that squad will help a lot.

Now there probably is a way to drop the scarabs and get another Annihilation barge in there, but scarabs can be a pain in the ass, tarpit wise, and if they make it to a vehicle, well we know what happens then.

Having the Ghost Ark makes sense, it's just on its tod. You need another really. And if sitting on a objective (the Warriors) the Ghost Ark isn't doing a fat lot.

Well, that's the thing with Scarabs, everyone knows what they do and 6 won't last long at all. By the time they reach enemy lines, well if they do, they will be depleted and not have a huge effect.

It went really well for me at the tourny. I maxed out my first 3 games, and in the finals I came up against a Draigowing GK army in an annihilation mission..... so ya, im sure we can guess how that went. 2nd wasnt too bad though, I had a good first and second game against Dark Eldar (scary with a ton of lances) and tabled a Dev squad heavy and mephiston BA army. Tough tough game I sorta pulled out of my ass against a Space Wolves army, yay for Everliving on my lord...

Overall the the only real thing I would have changed was changing out the 90 pts of scarabs for another Annihilation barge. The scarabs only tarpitted 1 unit in all my games and only ate 1 rhino, where as the ann barge did a ton for me!
