Hi all,

At my local Games Workshop, they are going to hold an Armies of Awesome campaign tournament.

We all have to collect, completely finish and field 650p of an 40k army.

So here's my BT deal =

HQ
Emperor's Champion; all his stuff and the AACNMTO vow 140p

TROOPS
10 Crusade squad; (all CC weapons and Bolt pistols) Power fist, meltagun 185p

10 Crusade squad; (all CC weapons and Bolt pistols) Power fist, meltagun 185p

FAST ATTACK
2 Land Speeder Typhoons (70 each) 140p

total 650p

Any comments or help would be much appreciated

1 question I have with this is:

How do you plan on playing an army like this?

Having fast attack and foot soldiers will forge a break in your force that will be simple to cut up with enemies.

Do you have a plan to stop this or did you overlook it?

I plan to cover the advance as long as possible with my Land speeders, they are supposed to stay fiercly behind and move a tad bit here and there to get better aim or focus (and always a more difficult 'to hit if assaulted by deep striking guys)

And so my foot soldiers will advance forward under cover fire.

I'm not really aiming for 200% competitive here still... I am going to keep your comment in mind though and not let any enemies easily slip between my lines, never forget it is only 650p

You have short ranged troops without transportation.

I would seriously consider squeezing in another 2 typhoons. They will be mobile and killy. Whereas you can hide your troops if you need them to be scoring.
