Wanted to make an Eldar list that could hold it's own against any army. As Eldar, this doesn't often happen lol. Hopefully this one fares better than most.

HQ:
Eldrad Ulthran - 210

Elites:
9x Striking Scorpions - 207
Exarch w/ Scorpion's Claw, Shadowstrike

Troops:
8x Dire Avengers - 285
Exarch w/ 2x SC, Bladestorm
Wave Serpent w/ TL Bright Lance, Spirit Stones

9x Dire Avengers - 317
Exarch w/ Diresword/Shuriken Pistol, Defend, Bladestorm
Wave Serpent w/ TL Bright Lance, Spirit Stones

Heavy Support:
Falcon w/ Bright Lance, Spirit Stones - 155

Wraithlord w/ Wraithsword, Bright Lance - 140

3x War Walkers w/ 6x Scatter Lasers - 180

-----------------------------1494----------------------------

Hopefully this list can help give Eldar a better name!

Not to deflate you... but the list won't do so well against an experienced player....

Would to brilliantly against GEQs, due to amount of shots. But when it comes to high armour saves and vehicles, you are lacking.

If you want a dedicated assault unit, go with banshees/seer council. Scorpions might have better armour, but they are slower, and don't do so well against things like terminators and marines.

As for your AT, brightlances as rubbish. Far too expensive. You want wave serpents with 5 fire dragons in em, for faster lists. Wave serpents are one of the best transports in the game IMO due to sheer survivability. Replace the laces with scatter lasers or missile launchers if you really want the S8.

Avengers are good, but work best in either full 10 with exarch and bladestorm-twin catas or just in 5 man units. Defend can be useful, but if avengers are charged they are only T3 and 4+ sv remember.

Falcons, again, seem good on paper, but what you want is a night spinner or fire prism. They will do a lot more damage and help your army more.

The wraithlord is awesome, but he lacks support and is too slow :/

Warwalkers are prefect

With Eldar, I find that specialising is the key to victory. Go all shooty, if you don't want to field lotsa tanks, get an avatar and wraithlords with guardians etc

Hope it helps

Decent. Eldrad is an amazing supporting HQ. Very cheap for what he brings to the table. In your list however, he has very little to support. Not his fault though.

Meh. Scorpions are just not that great. If you want close combat power, harlies are the way to go. If you're going mechdar however, your elite should be 3x5 firedragons + wave serpents

Meh. Avengers are fine, both as min-sized scoring unit and in larger units. However, diresword is poor upgrade, shimmershield is much better for a larger unit. Defend + bladestorm are good powers on a large squad. Bright lances are too expensive, tank killing should be done by firedragons, all vehicles should have S6 weaponry.

Why? What does it transport? A falcon is a terrible gunship. If you want gunships, fireprism and night spinner is the way to go. If you want some variety in your HS slots, I would go with 1x nightspinner + 2x warwalkers.

Wraithlords are good, but not in mech-lists and not in singles. Leave him at home if you want to play mech.

Great unit Here's something for Eldrad to support

Sorry to say that it is all over the place. It lacks anti-tank and a clear focus. 3 skimmers is also waaaaay few at 1500pts. Go foot or go proper mech. Eldar does poorly in the middle road.

Eldar can do very well in the hands of a smart player.
However, Eldar armies do not scale up very well. At 1500 pts, however, you can field a decent army.

The new list looks better. It is far from optimized, but it does have the tools to compete in a friendly game.

You do seem to have moved further towards footdar than mechdar with the last one. Are you building lists mainly from models you own or are you going to build an army based on the list? If the latter is the case and you like harlies, avengers and wraithlords, I would advice going all foot.
