This is the new bike list ive been working on for eldar, its 1500pts and any advice/ changes would be appreciated:


TROOPS
3 guardian jetbikes with a shuriken cannon = 76
Warlock on jetbike with conceal = 60
3 guardian jetbikes a two shuriken cannons = 76
3 guardian jetbikes with a shuriken cannons = 76
HQ
Farseer with doom and guide on jetbike = 120
6 warlocks on jetbikes with one conceal, one embolden, one enhance, 3 x destructor and three x singing spear = 343
FAST ATTACK
2 Vypers with bright lances and holo fields = 220
Vyper with a missile launcher and holo fields = 100
4 Shining spears with exarch with withdraw = 267
HEAVY SUPPORT
Fire prism with holo fields and spirit stones = 160

I'm not a fan of Shining Spears. Like I said before. Hornets ftw. You can give them bright lances (better range- still a lance) and they have av11 11 10 (wont get tied up in cc- no need for hit and run) and you can give them holo fields (less likely to pen with s5/6 weapons). I know that's not that great looking but it's better than t4 and a save that will probably get penned.

Edit: in fact, you could probably ditch all your FA for 2 squads of 2 Hornets with BLs and EMLs. You'd hafta check up on the points, but I think they're about 120 each for BL EML and Holo fields.

They are both forge world and this list is meant to be a legal warhammer 40k list without forge world although i will get hornets to rotate between them and shining spears as i love the hornet models!

Imperial Armor issue 11 has rules for them and all corsairs.

PS most GW I've been to in Southern California have allowed ForgeWorld material. They are affiliated after all.

That looks pretty close (quick google-fu) but I think the pulse laser is cheaper... Maybe don't have scout? I don't have my book in front of me.

Looks alright overall but there are some key problems.

Your GJB don't need a conceal warlock. Either run the warlock with embolden or a destructor and make sure you throw a singing spear on there for a S9 weapon vs. tanks.

Shining spears seem cool but they aren't very effective against most units. They don't get enough attacks and are very exspensive. I don't know if you want to keep your jetbike list All jetbikes but warp spiders could do a better job in combination with your jetbikes.

One of the biggest problems I see is your vypers. They are wayyyyyy too exspensive. I would never put holofields on a vyper, it cost tooo much for an armour 10 open topped model. I would drop your vypers and your fire prism for 2 fire prisms with no upgrades and a squad of 3 vypers with EML and underslung shuriken cannon.
