After painting about 5k of Crimson Fists, I thought I would make some custom objective markers... The red high lighting doesn't show very well on video or stills but trust me there is about 4-5 different shades used!
Whatcha think of these objective markers? Would you like to see them in a game? All comments are appreciated!

Very nice! I'm afraid that I'm going to have to be "that guy". Although it's a great paint job, I don't like the silver /boltgun shell casings. They blend in too much with the floor, and they should be brass or gold anyway.
On the very last picture, on the bottom right marker, there is a disc-shaped floor piece. I think it looks a little out of place, as if it was intended as a piece to fit directly on top of a 25mm base (I assume it's one from the official GW basing kit?).
Also the way that the marines look pristine. It wouldn't be so bad if they had just died, but by the looks of things they have been there for a while (no flesh on heads for example). I would imagine that for the time it took for a marine's bio-engineered skin to fully rot, there would at least be some signs of age on other parts (tarnished metals, deteriorating fabric etc.).
Thanks for the input guys. I think you guys are correct on the shell casings and will paint them brass. The disc floor piece I put on the flooring to appear as a hatch or service plate of some kind.
Regarding the lack of damage to their armour, etc. I imagined these guys were killed without warning (ie Death Guard infiltration). After reading one of the Horus Heresy novels, I envisioned the DG using a poison that disintegrates all their tissue hence leaving fairly clean armour and bone. I guess I was inspired after reading the novel.
