I got the gist of your list, do you have the BA's list?

Just curious because the 2k point BA list I played a week or so ago just tabled me. They seemed more CC than this one (and your list was definitely more CC than my list). Although I'm sure that the main reason I got trounced was because my tactics were bad, too

Pretty sure it was something close to that. Was my first time ever playing against eldar, and was still pretty new to the game. I think this was the first time i ever ran a 2 land raider list as well as the first time i ever used a drop pod. I have since not gone with the drop pod strategy. I prefer to put my dreadnaught in a stormraven, or i bring baal preds instead. Great battle though learned alot, and Eiluj The Farseer is a fun opponent.

Hazrd was a good opponent as well, and without the terrain helping me out, the game could have been very different, the center piece blocked LOS for a lot of the game on the Devastator squad so unfortunitely they were not that usefull for my opponent. I go lucky with a shot from my Brightlance from the Waveserpent and it took out his landraider and the marines inside could not make CC, just a little short. But that is how the game works, chance, luck, terrain, and strategy... cheers all

Footdar for the win! How are you liking footdar compared to mechdar?

I usually run mechdar... Hazrd wanted to ply Eldar he had not played them and I had been running a stint of Foot Ork Lists.. I just thought it would be fun to run a foot list... though sort of a cheat as I ran 1 WS with 5 DA with TL brightlance and two GJBK units too, so not entirely foot. The problem it with Eldar is that the T3 makes it hard in a slow foot list, but the T6 of the wraithguard are nice and I love Harlies esp with veil of tears... I am hoping that 6th makes footdar viable again... we will see. Heck I would be happy with a new Eldar Codex....

Well the tourney is my father's day gift... hopefully in 5-7 years my son can start playing too, but until then, will just have to be me the big kid playing..

I am envious. I never get to play in the summer tournament series... the games *always* conflict with some major event that I can't reschedule.

So far I am lucky as my son is not old enough to be in team sports yet... cheers man..
