Thanks for the report. A picture is worth a thousand words. 'OWNED' cracked me up as well as losing your cushy Rhino upholstery. I like your theme and gives me a bit of nostalgia thinking about getting up on Saturday mornings in the 80's eating cereal and watching Transformers.

Great report (although I felt bad for the Tyranid player on the open plains) and again, thanks.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Definitely a fine battle report, and it looks like you had a great time. It also shows me the variety in what styles of play are favored in different areas of the country. Where I live, there is a lot more terrain on the tables, and it gives HtH armies(like the unfortunate Tyranids from your battle report) more options of movement, and doesn't let shooty armies totaly dictate the terms of the game.
I say this based on the tables I saw in your report, since it didn't look like any of them offered a lot of cover. Do a lot of the players in your area run shooty armies over HtH forces?

Those terrain setups make me cry :'[

Regardless... thanks for the report... reports are always better with pictures.
