Ok, so I'm running into a brick wall here....

Just picked up 4 sealed Mage Knight Rebellion starter sets for pocket lint, and I figured that I may be able to find a battlemat to play this classic on.

So the catch is, I can't find the play mat. Anywhere. And I distinctly remember owning one in my younger days. Green 3x3 playing surface with 2 solid deployment zone and 2 dotted deployment zones with the MK symbol in the middle. I KNOW I HAD ONE!!! Now, not even google images is returning anything.

Help me out here Dakka!

1) I want to make sure I'm not losing my mind and making up memories for myself....
2) If I am in fact still in control of my mental faculties and someone out there has this thing lying around, I'd love to take it off of your hands!

I know that I can find other battle mats out there, and I could easily make my own, but we've moved into 'principle of the thing' range and now I have to see the official mat!!

I do remember having a Mage Knight mat but it was plastic rather than felt. I'll see if I can dig my MK stuff out and get a picture though.

When I played mage knights we wound up using the GW felt mats that the comic book shop had.

I still have piles of pre 2.0 models sitting around somewhere warping in the heat of my parents house in Georgia.

Know thy self. Everything follows this.

You'd have a couple of dollars, and evidence of schizophrenia.

IIRC there was never actually a game called Mage Knight. The CIA implanted memories of it in certain test subjects so they could later be triggered as sleeper agents.

Does that help?

If it was felt and gaming related it was probably made by HotzMats, who likely doens't make it any more, but does still do custom work.

Yeah, I looked at them for a while, but this mat didn't have the hexs (hexi, hex's....) or squares on it. Just green felt.

I did find a picture of a knock off that is actually fairly close, but Machine Made and green felt. Helps you get the idea though.

Those play mats were tourney mats, given to stores and the occasional 'lucky winner'. A quick google/eBay search shows they're pretty much non-existent. Sorry, compadre.

Hotz Mats also makes green felt mats without hexes or squares. And custom designs.

I have a green mat I just found. It has two little boxed areas, and MK in the corners.

It has a ton of stuff on it I am ebaying, but tomorrow I'll take a pic and post it.

If you want, I have some Mageknight metal figures, still int eh blister. I was told they were specials...they are yours for the price of shipping and handling. Unless you live in Baltimore MD then we can just meet up.I'll see about digging them up if you want.
