So there is a big change to harlequins for eldar in the eldar faq.
Shadowseer: Veil of Tears,
Replace the 2nd and third sentences with, "THe shadowseer, and all models in her unit have the stealth and shrouded special rule."
I note that dark eldar harlequins do not have this in their faq.
That's a head scratcher. So if I take dark eldar harlequins, even though they're written the same in both codecies, they're different because one was faqed and the other wasn't.
Hmm...would it be ok to play dark eldar harlequins as one or the other?

"There is no limit to the human spirit, but sometimes I wish there was."
Customers ask me what army I play in 40k. Wrong Question. The only army I've never played is orks.
The Connoisseur of Crap.
Knowing is half the battle. But it is only half. Execution...application...performance...now that is the other half.

As an Eldar player I would say use the Eldar FAQ for Dark Eldar Harlequins. I doubt anyone would have a problem with it. Of course remember, while the get Stealth/Shrouded, they still have to be spotted.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

In general if you want some leniency on this I think you should be prepared to accept you won't get both the spotting distance and the shrouding.
This was a likely typo where it should have read 'paragraph', not 'sentence'.

Oh I agree whole-heartedly that it is most likely a typo. But until it gets fixed, it is what it is, and my harlies will enjoy their +3 cover and spotting. Of course if my opponent actually says anything, I'll give it up, not really a big deal to me.

I think it was supposed to replace the second and third sentence of the second para. As an Eldar player, I'm not going to play 'as if' I have to be spotted at all, as I think this is one FAQ mistake which is so obviously a mistake, that it should be ignored. Just my opinion though, and technically if my opponent insists on using spotting distance as well I'll allow it as I have no official rules/ FAQ to back me up
