Not a bad little set up. We have Dwarven Adventurers on Kickstarter and now sweet Gobbo Pirates on Indigogo.

The greens look very promising.

I was somewhat in the process of rolling my eyes at these, but then I saw that the sculptor is Kev Adams, and there are already 2 nice looking greens.. well, I may go in on this one.

Looks cool. I'd really love a Kickstarter/Indiegogo project for boxes of cheap but great-looking goblins, similar to the current GW goblins and the old Night Gobbos from the early 2000's. Much as I love my greenskins, they're prohibitively expensive at current prices.

Excellent addition to Cutlass.

If you don't know about it, Black Scorpion has a dead nuts and bolts on pirate game where you play with different crews, and they have a goblin and ork pirate crew in there, as well. The game is amazing.

Gobbos.... Its whats for dinner.

Along with the 100 bucks, for 25 guys? Thats a pretty good size crew, might even have to pick up one of those 30 gun rigs from the other project....

so pretty. And so much time till the end. Sadly the last IGG took my money right away, so I am gonna have to hold off till closer to the end, because I am over budget for the month already.

I'm holding off for now. The figure I like the most is naturally the $7500 stretch goal one with the Tricorne. All the others are nice, but I can take or leave them.

I'm thinking about revising the stretch goals and to add the 6th to the set at a lower level of funding so that anyone can have him in the set.
The decision will probably be taken during the week end with updated goals online by next monday.

Congrats to all the supporters so far we have reached the first goal. Now we need to get to $5,000USD so we get the Resin bases and Goblin dice.

this project is great I am hoping to add more to my pledge soon as they are hoping to add some "buy" options to the pledges. I want some of the Green Goblin dice, and I hope they get to make the Pirate Dwarfs who else would be fitting enemies of Pirate Goblins but Dwarfs.

I'll try and keep the info flowing as soon as I get it.

Six days left.. they hit their target when Bruno added the tricorne goblin. They're a few hundred dollars off a dice set for all backers. Dice are nice, but the gobboes he has are better. Also a cheap buy-in.

Some updates for those interested:

You did it ! the $5000 stretch goal has been reached yesterday, so every one who did pledge $30 or more wil have his goblin dice set offered with his order, the miniatures will be provided with scenic resin bases and will be in a box with unique design and your name on it !

You are great and I’m glad to have you onboard !

I want to thank you for all your support !

The campaign is over, now it’s time to launch the production, and I will need information to do so, I will send a survey in the next 48 hours for you to tell me what you did exactly want. You will have until wednesday september 12th to reply but the sooner the better ! The survey will also let you add some stuff if you want to do so !

There are also some people that, for any good reason, couldn’t made the pre-order and I will let them have the miniatures at the same conditions if they tell me so by the end of the week, friday september 7th, you can contact me via the message service of Indiegogo or directly at bruno (dot) galice (at) gmail (dot) com, after that it will be too late and you’ll have to wait until I open the webshop later this year, and you won’t be able to have the bonus included (dice and resin bases).

Again I would like to thank you all, this campaign has been a real success for my project and I will now do my best to have you satisfied by what you did buy and I sincerely hope to see you there next time for the Pirate Dwarf team !

Latest update -

Hi there !

I’m still finalizing the survey, I will try to send it during the week end.

The miniatures have been ordered now (I did order some more to be sure that you can get more it you tell so in the survey) and should be produced by the end of next week.

The dice are being ordered right now and I’m working with my designer to create the miniature card box.

I’m still working on the bases with no decision so far for the producer !

I'm posting here to let people know that this project was funded, there were photos of the product, and then.... nothing.

The last update was in October, and there are no gobbos off the port bow.

Contacted Bruno, contacted Indiegogo, and------ Nothing.

Paid for nonproduct.

If anyone else has the same issue, chime on in.

I sent a complaint through to Indigogo today.

time will tell if anything comes of this. His claim of having no Internet access due to being in Hospital is a load of Bullocks as he's been posting on his Facebook page regularly.

So I would be forewarned about backing any future projects made/ran or managed by Bruno.

Disappointing - it's fear of stuff like this that keeps me from supporting the little-guy kickstarters.

Outfits like Cmon, Mantic, etc I feel like I have a reasonable recourse if things go awry.

I'm surprised there haven't been more outright scams like this on crowdfunding sites before. They provide a very good platform for them.

Kickstarter has a clause about "good faith effort" does IndieGoGo not? No comms since Oct would seem to violate that.

That's why folks flock to the "name" camaigns- less chance of a scam.

Just a quick update to let everybody know what’s happening.

I’m just back from the hospital where I did spent the most of the 3 last weeks with no internet access.

I’m discovering all the fuss about the goblins and I feel very sorry for everybody.

Just to let you know the sending of the miniatures was given to a Help Center for mentally inadequate center the week before Christmas as I was taking some holidays with my kids and wanted to be sure that the miniatures would have been sent, I will check with them on monday what happens and why they didn’t seem to have sent the miniatures.

I’m really sorry for all this and will try to do my best to reply to everyone and be sure that every body will get what he paid for !

Please accept my sincere apology for all this…

Honestly, that excuse sounds completely implausible (the chain of excuses: shipping for a critical item given to a center for the mentally impaired, not bothering to check if they'd shipped, then being hospitalized for the remainder of the time, with supposedly no internet access but he was able to post to facebook).

However, sometimes the truth is such... but I would Definitely, 100% be contacting my credit card company right now if I had pledged.

I did check and it looks like he made an update in December saying the items shipped (so he has updated since October), but that's obviously why there's such an uproar now, since they did not ship. He is either lying, or very incompetent, neither of which is good...

It’s a matter of respect. Or a lack thereof.

I really do understand that everyone is upset about me, and I won’t enter the discussions about my health here.

I do understand that everybody wants to believe what he wants about me or about the choices I made regarding this funding campain, this is not a problem at all.

I do understand that you want your miniatures more than apologies.

I just want to affirm here again that this campaign is not a scam and is not fraudulent, everybody will receive what he paid for, as soon as possible.
