Simply put, think we're ever going to see them?

I understand that SoB aren't the best selling army out there (for some pretty obvious reasons, imho), but I'm kind of annoyed that I got DE Prisoners in finecast before a St. Celestine.

I really don't think the best way to make Sisters of Battle sell more is to make their models cost 20% more...........

I don't think we'll ever see them outside of special characters whenever it is they finally do get upgraded.

Unlikely at this time. We'll see though.

I guess it's more about recognition that players do exist

Well they haven't stopped making the Sister's figs yet, so there is still *some* recognition that players of the army do exist. I am wondering if the allies rules might see more SoB sales as people use them to support their other marine armies since the pricing of a few SoB units isn't as crazy as the whole army of metal figs. Perhaps if they can get a sales boost like that they will see some more love GW for improvements and new minis...

I agree. We need all new models and more affordable box sets of whole squads instead the tiny 1, 2 and at most 3 packs they offer on the games workshop site right now. Currently SoB sales are almost all on E-bay moving old models from one owner to the next and finecast isn't likely to change that.

We're getting finecast Death-cult Assassins and Crusaders..

Well, only because they are also in the Grey Knight lineup.

i say keep the crap-cast, i have had a few games with mates finecast models may look better in detail but they snap and bend so easy.

its taken me alot of money to get my SOB army, and this is main reason there is not much SOB players.....

Metal > finecast every day of the week. you only have to look on ebay. all models selling for twice price of finecast. older/some paint work is nasty yet they still sell.

i do want some plastic models for my SOB. but not Finecast.

The way GW is moving metal to fine cast, I expect to see SoB move like the Hive tyrant. Do the quick convert metal-> finecast, then on the units that have options about six months to a year later those units will go FC->Plastic.

A move to Finecast for the special characters wouldn't surprise me, but I think we'll be seeing metal models for the regular girls until they re-sculpt the entire line. Frankly, I have all the Sisters I need, so I certainly won't be buying any even if they did make the switch to a different medium.
