The Battle Foam Sword Bag is the ideal bag for the Gamer on a budget.

Not only does this bag come at an amazing price but it also uses our Battle Foam SD trays that measure 13" x 7.75". This even allows customers to use existing foam trays from other companies due to the common foam size.

This bag is made with a grey canvas material for added durability and long life. There is one pocket on each side of the bag as well as the back and there are four on the front to store books and other gaming accessories.

Unlike the P.A.C.K. System bags, this bag is not made with a hard plastic inner shell and will collapse when not filled with foam. This is what allows for the amazing price point of only $36.99 empty.

This bag can also be ordered with a standard or pluck foam load out for only $61.99.

The bag can hold 11" of foam when full and is due to release Oct 1st. Pre-orders are available now by following this link http://us.battlefoam.com/products/BF-Sword-Bag-Empty.html

We are also giving away 25 of these bags to random gamers at Duel Con 2012 in October. Tickets and information can be found at this link http://us.battlefoam.com/products/DuelCon-Event-Badge.html

Inside Bag Dimensions - 13W x 7.75L x 11H" (330W x 197L x 267H mm)

Outside Bag Dimensions - 15W x 10L x 11.5H" (381W x 254L x 279H mm)

Holy gak finally. You guys made a bag that fits the common 13"x7.5" sized trays. I'm going to go check out Battlefoam when these become available!

So wait, what makes this different from the Shield? I need a new bad for my lizards, but money is tight so this would be pretty nice if it fits them, which it looks like it will

The Shield holds GW-sized trays which only people that bought GW-trays have.
This "Sword" Bag holds the standard 13"x7.5" trays that many other companies out there make. Most notably it fits trays that people already have from Sabol.

Wait a sec. Exactly how squishy is this thing compared to SD bags?

Breotan - Its not actually that soft. We use a hard plastic upper lid and a hard plastic lower base. This gives the bag a stable platform.

The foam does the rest. Also, with our stronger foam it keeps the bag nice and durable so the models do not get smashed up.

We will also be releasing a few new standard pre cut trays under our SD (Sword Line) so people do not have to create everything yourself.

More news to come.

Quite interesting. I do own 16" of Sabol trays.

So does this bag hold the same amount of tray space as the original SD Army transport bag? or more? I have an old one that I'd love to replace

Necros - The size of the bag is 11" tall inside so that is the amount of foam it holds.

The thing about Battle Foam SD trays is that we can fit 50% more items per tray then normal pluck and pick of the same size.

Even with our bag being a bit smaller in height it still holds more models. If I remember correctly the pluck foam trays of this size can fit 28 troops if you pick them out perfectly.

Our SD (Sword Bag) troop foam tray holds 40 models. So in just 2 of our 1.5" troop trays you can hold 80 minis. Those 2 trays would only take up 3.5" of the 11" available in the Sword Bag. That means you have 7.5" of space still available for vehicles or medium size models.

I see there is a pocket on the outside, and the bag's exterior width is 15": do you have any idea if this will be wide enough to fit the 14" square boards that come with Sedition Wars? I was saddened to see that the Sedition Wars branded bag can't fit them, so I've been on the lookout for one that might. I'm certain you wouldn't be able to close the top flap, of course.

I suppose a secondary question is how thick a book/tile/etc. can you fit in the back panel? A copy of WHFB, or a magazine?

Also, (and sorry for being dense), what exactly is a "standard" as opposed to pluck foam load out? (As you may have guessed, looking for something to hold the larger sized pieces and many troops from Sedition Wars.)

Fascinating.

I have no desire to get this bag but its just because I don't use those trays (I use BF or GW trays).

HOWEVER...I do think it is great that you guys are creating new products to support more gamers out there.

Now, if I could just figure out how to get 20 gargoyles into one standard tray......

Speaking of the custom tray creator, any news on when all the fliers (both GW and FW) will show up there?

Will be preordering, is there any plan to build something that takes 2 of the SD trays side by side? for those of us who have the larger trays?

R3con - No sorry. The larger foot prints will stay in the standard Battle Foam Side of 15.5 x 12.

If you case fits those you can always order from our full range of more than 400 tray styles.

The standard P.A.C.K. bags accept 2 of those side by side with a little gap in between. I just used a couple SD trays in my 720 last Saturday.
It's not a PERFECT fit for 2, but they'll get in there with room to spare.

Love it. Does being so squishy / collapsible mean decent shipping rates to Australia?

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

They seem to only have Priority Mail International available and that's set at $45.00 USD so you'll have to judge for yourself.
