Condolences to Faolan, sorry for your loss.

I am wanting to order some more Cthood heads, and I saw the picture of the head with goggles. But, I can't find a way on the site to make those. Didn't Vic sell goggles that wrapped around a head before? Or am I thinking of somebody else?
I've ordered the Cthood heads before and none have the goggles. I love the look, and would like to recreate that. I appreciate any suggestions / info.

Here is the picture I'm talking about:

IIRC the goggles and ammo bandoleers are OOP.

They used to offer metal bits of gas masks, goggles, bandoliers, and other things that involved straps. I still have a few of those for conversions.

Side note.. someone might want to tell Vic that the address in the very first post still goes to the old (non-existent) web shop.

Well, I'll give one vote for her bringing those, or something like them back. I really would love to have some for a project I'm about to start.

Thanks Kid_Kyoto, I know Vic is horrendously busy until the end of the month, so I don't know when she would have gotten around to it.

Hi, messing about with parts combos for a new regiment. Suggestions, feedback welcome. Yes, there will also be female troops. Looks like I might finally get those ushanka heads done.
Cheers, V

Just want to make sure I'm reading this correctly (my buddy is considering some of these). You cannot order the BFG with tracks and the short barrel cannon as a single kit, correct? It's only available as the base gun + upgrades? That, unfortunately makes it price-prohibitive for him. Just want to make sure before we go elsewhere. There won't be a stubby tracked version released will there - or am I missing something?

The Sledgehammer kit is a Reaper/ Victoria production. As far as I'm aware, at present, it is available only in the Reaper packaging as a whole kit.

As someone who joined the KS for three, then purchased the track upgrades, I can assure that there is a market for the left over wheels as bits sales.

As a steampunk modeler/gamer, I can 100% agree.

Heck, I used to buy the old GW Gubbins bags, just for the wheels....

I somehow missed the new 10 man beastman squad being released! I set it up to notify me when they are back in stock as I will definitely purchase at least one squad.

I can't decide if I like the AK-auto rifle or the regular-auto rifle for them. I'm leaning AK-auto because to me it looks less refined and more suited to beastmen.

I do wonder: Will GW beastmen heads fit on those bodies easily? I would like to do a bit of mixing and matching with the GW Gor kit and the Victoria kit.

Hi, Here is what is currently on the workbench and about to go out for casting. A ten man firing line for the Tannenburg Fusiliers. This kit will expand the current Tannenburg range with two new arm sprues and one new leg sprue, making it easy to create your parade drill squads.
The squad you see is just blu-taced together on the workbench.
The final squad will have ammo pouches, bayonets and arms for an officer. Comments and suggestions welcome.
Question: Both ranks arms in firing position?, or one rank in resting position like shown in the pic?
Thanks, V

I really like the visual of the one rank firing and the other at rest, although would probably work even better if the front rank were reloading, rather than just resting.

Or if the kneeling ones had their guns a little lower and bayonets fixed.

Like them. Hope you'll have the female version coming up soon. Also I hope you put out some female heads to go with your very nice female cuirass torsos at some point.

Indeed, are there also plans for female Tannenburg arms holding this type of lasgun in those poses? I am planning on getting some squads of both for a bit of mixing and it would be great if they could all use the same type rifle.

I'm still chewing on my squad of female Tannibergers and have suggestion that might be a bit against the stream...

Have you considered simplifying kits? Assembling them in resin I found the task of assembling two arms and a gun to be an irritation.

Obviously the modularity is a large part of the appeal but if the normal rifle holding pose could be combined into one torso-arms-gun piece I'd be happy. Maybe just for some of the more popular versions?

I certainly wouldn't complain if this were a thing.

I'm also hoping for male cuirass torsos.

I'd have to check and see if I have any extra Gor heads, but the GW Beastmen are pretty big in comparison to the Victoria ones. Ungor heads may fit.

Thank you for checking.

I went ahead and ordered a squad of the beastmen, some bits, and a small squad of female acadians.

Loving the Chaps with the fuzzy hats.

The Tennenburgs look great as well, except you cannot hold and fire a rifle like that. The hand holding the stock/trigger has to be in front of the face.

Its like you knew I was converting a ton of Valhallans and knew I'd be looking for something flashy to use as vets.

Not for me. I'd love some male cuirass torsos though. The grenadier option for my vets may be dead in the codex, but it will always live on in my heart.
