Had an ongoing trade with Nrljm for like 3/4 months now.

Sent him £92 for some Blood Angels stuff, seen he had a high post count and a few trades so felt secure, and obviously paypal dispute.
Didn't arrive for ages and he told me he'd found out the post depot had gone on strike and put the parcel aside but not sent it, so gave him more time. Still no sign of it. 45 day dispute time has long gone.

Quite strange though because he said he didn't have internet available for a while which is a warning sign but did reply every few days, even after the dispute time was up. Also offered me a refund when the postal f**k up had occurred but I stupidly gave him the benefit of the doubt. Don't know if he's been online recently, last message was 04/07/12 (July 4th for the Americans!) his post count hasn't changed for ages.

Still want to believe he's just struggling to get online but that is what has lost me money...being too trusting. I have his name (from PayPal) but don't see what use that is going to be really :/

Anyway, if he comes online please be wary! Or if you're reading this, please reply.

Shaun, can you post his name? If he's up to no good, which it sure looks like, that could help people link him to any previous issues he may have had.

This guy seemed pretty shady to me. I was gonna buy a DKOK lot off him for like 200 usd, but he failed to show me pictures, and respond in a manner which made me back out of the deal. He kept lowering the prices until it seemed "too good to be true". He also kept claiming to lose internet and couldnt be bothered to take pictures.

I didn't go through with the deal though, so i have no real beef with him, but i'd just like to let you know my views of this individual.

Hope it gets cleared up for you though.

You should have resolved the dispute with paypal regardless and if it does arrive then you can contact paypal to go through with the money

Yeah I was pretty stupid throughout the deal but had a few things on my mind at the time and wasn't thinking straight.

I know there's no chance of me getting my money or models but just want people to be aware in case he tries again.

Am I allowed to post his name? I don't know what the rules are, is it only like full addresses that can't be posted?

Call Paypal - They might still be willing to help. Worth a shot. At a minimum if he's verified they can get you more information and you can look at Mail Fraud charges.

If you have his details you could report him to the police. I'm not sure if it's classed as theft or fraud but what he's done is illegal. They may be able to help.

swalker, you can post his name, but if someone wants his full address from you it will need to be done via PM.

I'd also say it's worth giving Paypal a call about it... you never know.

Yeah I'll give Paypal a call tomorrow, just to see what they can do. Even if they can just black mark him as dodgy or something it would be nice to know.

Cheers for the support though despite me being an idiot. My experiences of the swap shop have been very good up until this and while it was quite a bit of money I've still got more money than if I'd bought stuff new from GW which is a silver lining.

Dude ive sent you regular pm's EVERYTIME iv been online, which hasn't been very often since I DO NOT OWN INTERNET at home any longer.
Secondly I have several successful purchases/trades with other dakka members, just because your models haven arrived doesn't mean I haven't sent them, further more I told you is gladly offer a full refund if you wanted it. Wow some people like to pick and choose what they write on the Internet don't they.

Last of all I have an eBay account with the same username as my dakka account with like 35 positive feedback - not that it matters.


On a side note to tjolle I never offere a hole bunch of dkok for 200usd it was 280£ worth for 200£ lol you try to make it out as if I'm some desperate scammer. Please people if you are going to criticise or "state the facts" gets your facts right, I don't mind being told I'm in the wrong when I am in the wrong, but don't over exaggerate the crap out of your story.

IV already made trades with members such as "sekai" and "pnyxpress" which went dry straightforward.
Like I said in the pm I sent you befor I wrote this, ill next be online on either the 29 or 30th n if you haven't gotten em I'll refund you. Calling me a scammer because you haven't received your stuff is a bit jumpy considering IV been in touch with you when IV been online. And as I also said if you wanna post a transaction report I can't stop you from doing so, but when I came to read it after I had sent you such PM I didn't expect there to be so much crap written especially by people IV never dealt with / spoken too aswell.
Anywho do what you want, 4wks ago I told you I had them reshipped to you, there coming from Australia IV shipped things that have arrived to the us in 2wks some that have taken 7weeks it's not a certain "oh you'll have it in 3days" I'm not charging you 50$ postage I charge you 15 - minimal amount.
Most importantly I do not get online very often since I do not own Internet and I have told you this so many times, nearly each of my reply started with "hey sorry for late reply couldn't come online sooner" etc! At least I have stayed in touch with you as best I can. That's all I really have to say.

I've done deals with Nrljm, and everything worked out in the end. Lately shipping and receiving packages from Australia seems to be awfully slow, from my personal experience.

Well I'll gladly apologise when I've got my models but I disagree that this is a jumpy conclusion. I sent payment on the 27th April and my last contact with you was at the start of July.

You also said in that message that once I replied you would send me shipping information which lead me to think I would receive information from you closer to when you sent the email.

I am happy for this transaction report to be closed however while I know I can contact you. I will also happily post in the reputable traders list when the models arrive, and explain that the deal was sorted out.

Spoke to nrljm again today via email and have discussed what happened.

I'm happy to close this thread as I am confident the parcel will arrive, think it has just been a case of miscommunication.

Would like to also point out that nrljm did state in messages he was struggling to get online but he has also accepted that he could've replied a bit quicker. Likewise I could've waited a while longer to post a transaction report as once the items are posted it could take up to 7 weeks to arrive and there is nothing he could do about that.

I would also like to say that trading with nrljm has been a pleasure and if it hadn't been for a bit of miscommunication this wouldn't have come about.
