What is your coolest OOP mini?

Depends how you define OOP.

My 2-handed sword BT EC. Love that model...hell, I love all 3 of my OOP BT character models.

There not mine but one of my friends has a bunch of the older blood letters, the amount of spikes on those things almost assures they will draw blood if you aren't careful when picking them up.

Edit: Changed my answer because I didn't have my glasses on and I thought the OP was asking about "oldest" and not "coolest".

Coolest OOP miniature for me is a multi-way tie between my Realm of Chaos Chaos Renegade models.

The most unusual thing in my collection is about forty "high elves" purchased around 1991 who, I discovered many years later, were in fact originally sculpted by Citadel for to accompany Chaosium's Stormbringer RPG, and who include Elric himself (in several different versions), his villainous cousin Yyrkoon and Corum.

I suppose to answer the question I'll say this, I have one of these:

I have the famous IG "Vasquez" model

I have a squad of old tac terminators on small bases.

Then have a metal Castellan Crowe that was out for all of a month before they switched to Finecast

Out of all the OOP I use I must say the EC two hands on sword is my fav. Second old Lilith.

My Daemon army is full of OOP models now. I have some metal Plaguebearers, Flamers, and The old Metal Horrors.


The Metal horrors were awesome.

My 66 metal Daemonettes and 32 metal Seekers of Slaanesh tend to get an eyebrow. I still like my Aun'Shi though such a silly character.

12 old Eldar RT-era jetbikes puls a converted warlock on the same bike.

Well, it used to be my OOP canoness that looked like a normal Sister of Battle but with some better weapons, including a large icon thingy. Sadly, I ended up butchering her for a special project before I knew she was OOP.

Now, I guess it would be my female Commissar, the one with the tall boots and the corset. She also got butchered for a special project, but not irreparably so - I just removed her pistol hand and replaced it with a sniper rifle for a zombie survivor minigame I have since abandoned, but now I've glued on a spare bolt pistol hand I had laying around.

The OOP Canoness, on the other hand, I... Well, I tried to remove her robes with a pair of plastic clippers while trying to make a Kerrigan miniature (As in Sarah Kerrigan from Starcraft). Not the smartest thing I've ever done, and it didn't go so well. I eventually gave up on that and used a different miniature as a base model.

I love these models.

My old metal Plague Marines with melta and Plasma.

2nd edition multiple eyed Hive Tyrant, I even prefer it over the new one which is imo one of the greatest GW model ever. The 2nd edition Tyrant with usual head loses it though.

I've got one of these to count as my herald of nurgle, and another one that looks differently for a counts as epidemius.

If it's still in production in isn't OOP.
If it isn't in production anymore then it is OOP...
