hello all I have now finished painting my Cadian 6th Paras (first pic)
and i now have my first squad of Greatcoat Troopers as proxy DKK with a command unit (second pic)
i am now starting on a veteran IG squad using cadian and catachan bits (third pic)
if anyone would like close up pics please ask I amonly too happy to post.
I have started on making extra barricade sections so i can expand the defensive area.

I've been thinking of ordering some of those greatcoat troopers myself. Do you have any closeups of them? Could you do side by side with a Cadian for comparison?

the greatcoats fit perfectly but the heavy support box set is a smaller scale, why they messed with it is beyond me, so i would go with the the first box set. and i will post pics from eyelevel.
also the minis from pig iron fit well,

That's a shame about the heavy weapon box. Is it pretty noticeable?

that would be red of tracer
black for ap
blue for phosphorus

yes there is a 2mm reduction in overall size . check my other post called 'just for fun'

someone asked if i had any armour well i am working on these at the moe, they need weathering etc.see for yourself.

apart from the chimera all the others are magnatized so i can get more bang for my quid!
the basalisk top deck comes off so i can have an earthshaker cannon and i made a back plate so the hull becomes a recon vehicle or left off it is an open troop transport, i plan to make a fuel tank to sit in the back and mount a heavy flamer so i could have a hellhound too.
