Why don't you give your BSB Asyendi's Bane and HoD arrow and stick the Banner of eternal flame on a glade guard standard Bearer?

You need dryads and more glade guard...

What our army book needs is lower points cost and a bit of update.
But in the case of your list you need moe GG units and dryads.
I don't like glade riders, I like way watchers only for certain uses and I usually play tree men and treekin.
Oh and lore of beasts is good if you have a unit that actually go in CC. The only one you have is wardancers.

Killing is easy. Being politically correct is a pain in the ass...

T4 S4 Elves with the ward saves could work. And Curse of Anraheir is pretty bent.

I'm not sold on the double level 4, I don't think it adds enough (especially as I really don't rate Life magic for WE, or in general really).

Your current general adds absolutely nothing. The Spellweaver can make for a perfectly adequate general, or you can go for the Bow of Loren/Charmed Shield/Arcane Bodkins Highborn who is very useful with more and more armour in the game, and also has adds to the excellent synergy WE have with Lore of Beasts.

For the BSB, it';s nice to see people trying out original builds. Unfortunately, there is a reason you don't see much variety in WE BSB builds- the flaming banner can very easily go on one of the Glade Guard units, rendering your current set-up a bit redundant. Asyendi's Bane and the Hail of Doom Arrow may not be original, but there is a very good reason why so many WE players run it- it's a very, very good set-up.

One Glade Guard unit should have the flaming banner, and then the other units shouldn't be bigger than 10 models, and should just have musicians. when you have 40 Glade Guard in a list, a unit of 20 and 2 10s is better in every way, shape and form than 2 units of 20.

A few more Glade Guard would also be very good, they're pretty much the best unit in the Wood Elf book and are an extremely good unit in their own right. In fact, they're probably one of the few units in the game that are 100% fairly costed.

Each of those Glade Rider units can and should be 10 Glade Guard with a musician. It's difficult to express just how bad Glade Riders are without using them, but the only time to take them (assuming you're looking for a competitive list) is if you're using a comp system that doesn't allow you to take any more Glade Guard. Glade Riders kill nothing, and they die very very easily. They're just a bad unit all told, I only use them when I cannot take more Glade Guard instead.

I'd split the Wardancers into 2 small units, or else just drop them altogether. I've run endless calculations on them to see what they can do against knight buses, and the answer is pretty much unanimously nothing. Their roll is to function as redirectors, flee buffers and character/chaff snipers, not as a mainline combat unit. Units of 6 with champions or units of of 7 work less badly for this than for any other roll.

Thanks all for the help. I made some adjustments to the heros and lords based on your feedback, but I'm pretty maxed out on the troops based on the models available.
