Perils Of The Warp (page. 67)
If it occurs the psyker takes an unsaved wound with not save allowed.
Feel No Pain (page. 35)
on a 5+ the unsaved wound is discounted - treated as being saved.
So can you take a FNP roll against Perils ??? After all FNP is not a saving throw, and Perils is not causing Instant Death?

There is only one thing (as of right now) that does not allow FNP on an unsaved wound, ID.
|
Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

That is exactly what I though but my brother said no, and his argument was that since Perils does NOT allow saves, it is not an UNSAVED would and therefore does not activate FNP

A wound can be unsaved even if no save was possable.
Lets say I have a Life Insurance policy, and lets say that its in the event that I perished in an accident because I was unsaved from that accident.
Now lets assume I actually die because of an experiment that causes me to get teliported to the surface of Mars.
Clearly I could never EVER be saved from this accident. But it would be impossable to say that I didn't go unsaved just because a rescue wasn't possable. Therefore, the benificiary to the policy would be able to collect.

Any wound that gets through is an unsaved wound, no matter if you got a save of any sort or not. If Perils isn't an unsaved wound you don't have to reduce it from your profile.
