Hi all,with the release of the new daemon chariots I was going to take a unit of 3 exhalted ones and poss one with a herald.has any one tried them as on paper they look pretty amazing.and has anyone tried the other chariots too.many thank.

Are the exalted chariots the biggest of the three options?

Then it will be a pretty impressive sight at least. ^^

I'm not sure the if update has been out long enough for anyone to say definitively whether of not the chariots are worth it, nor how many to take. I would say they are beastly against any infantry, but also kinda vulnerable against anything else.

ive done some testing and thy have to kill what they charge or they get recked meltas ruin the day. but if you get the assault with all your hull points intack youll get an average of 45 how hits which generally kills about everything execpt av 13 n 14 and large squads of termys(rly big squads) they are pretty much a big nasty glass cannon that can kill whole units if they are not killed easy first. so if you can make 5 up invuls are scare the enemey into fireing there weapons else where or you can get them cover next to fw then take 3 and ruin a deathstar for somone

I think the exalted chariots are simply too expensive for what they do. There is not a lot of other things available in the army list to draw fire away from them. However, I think that regular seeker chariots are excellent and a steal, as long as they're taken en masse. I've tested them as 3 x 3 or as fateweaver + 2 x 3 and either way they did yeoman's work.
