As you can see from the link above this is a hind D Russian flying tank .
Do you think it can be converted into a Valkyrie or a vendetta?

It'd take a lot of work to make a 1:72 model look the part, at that point you might as well just scratchbuild the whole thing.
I'd say no, both to counts as model and base for conversion.

The first pic is bloody beautiful! Oh btw I didn't meant to fully made it by the model.
For example if I had 2 vendettas in my army I would have 1 GW with FW upgrades and one HInd D with maybe
Vendetta side wings separately bought and attached to hind so the top, the helicopter rotor is completely removed.
And you can the use the exact hind weapons as Valkyrie cause it wields almost the exact types of weaponry.
Flinty thanks for the beautiful pics man!
I would like though to check for more photos as I would probably start with this project.

Search for "helicopter" in the Dakka galelry and there are a few more ideas, including a rather nice rotary wing conversion using only Valkyrie parts. Looks a bit like a mix between an apache and a hind.

A 1/72 Hind is much too small. Bump up to a 1/48, and you've got something closer in size to the Valk/Vendetta. That being said, however, you might run into some issues with folks, especially if you don't expand the wingspan of the Hind, as it is far too narrow for a "counts as" Valk. The Valk is a big model, and should be converted as such, as close to the original dimensions as possible, lest you be accused of modelling for advantage.

I was thinking of using the 1/48 and then remove the rotor of the hind.
I would then probably add the side wings of the valk, right bellow of the hind d turbines.
I think it would be fine. I won't use it in games with people out of my league.
I ll use it in friendly games and in other games I ll use normal vendettas/valks.
Though I dont know if the mi 24 hind model has the inside modeled or it can be opened soo can place heavy bolters on side doors.
