Don't know if this was posted or not but did anybody notice the 5pack or wraithguard now available in finecast? Although at $60 you're not saving much

5 models at 60 bucks vs what? 15 each? thats like buying 5 for the price of 4

The price and the models are well enough if you don't have them already. I just hope that when it does come time for the new eldar codex that they mothball these and bring up some new sculpts.

Grail and Questing knights have gone up nearly 30% to $74.25 for a box of five. A box of EIGHT Knights of the Realm sits at $35.00. GW has lost themselves at least one sale that would have been otherwise guarenteed. Well played, GW.

Check out the lightning claws, they are so badly out of true they could end up stabbing the user!

Wow. The Combi-Plasma and Combi-Flamer look atrocious.

Yeah i can't really complain about the price it is basically one free, but I'm with you I'm hoping that their notion of re-casting old models right before they re-release a different one like they did with some of the metal DE before finecast means they will get a new plastic kit or something. I didn't even notice how badly the space marine upgrades were that's pretty sad. I did knotice the painting of the shining spears looks like something I would paint. The difference being I'm not a full time professional painter I expected a little more. All that being said I like the idea of upgrade packs sold in finecast expansions.

Bad, really bad. It's like they stole molds from a 3rd party caster. Although the combi-flam......no bad, just bad.

For all the hype these generated over the past week, the image does them no justice whatsoever. It's a different design, which is nice, I'll give them that, but overall it seems like this particular picture was rushed. If they'd taken the time to at least line the lightning claws up properly... Even the paint job overall seems rushed, not typical 'Eavy Metal quality.

The lightning claws are just the old ones from the vet squad (I think mkI).

I'm not sure why the heavy bolter is there, I guess showing the ammo selector thingy?

The combi weapons are a bit of a disappointment. Nice they tried something different, but they just look silly.

The heavy flamer, however, is pretty nice looking...

Edit: also, shining spears... umm?

God I hate finecast.
