@Anvil, will the second sniper model also be in a different pose from the one we've already seen?

Morning all,

@Barzam - Yes, One sniper will be posed very similar to the art and preview sculpt, the second will be in a "shooting" pose.

----

The campaign is really picking up steam and we have unlocked all our planned stretch goals.

The project now offers over 20,000 variations of modular infantry, and 25 unique character models!

Everything will be available at retail (except KS exclusive sculpts) but the pledges offer some great savings and freebies.

If you can't back today, we will have a late pledge option open for a few more weeks which will include all freebies.

Full details to follow.

Good effort on the project. I was persuaded to up my pledge to £150 for the love of Flying Armoured Nuns.

I am so glad to see the Angel unlocked and looking forward to delivery of my goodies.

There may be some head scratching on the pledge calculator in my near future so there is always the chance I throw some more money in.

As a query, is the Gladiator Champion included in the £150 pledge? Her artwork is underneath that pledge along with the Inquisitor, special weapons and accessories but not explicity stated?

Wow, I hadn't checked back since the first few days and you have unlocked a ton of awesome stuff! I'm probably in the 'wait for retail' crowd simply due to lack of funds at the moment, but there's a lot here that's piqued my interest, some of those characters are pretty much must-haves when they release, especially the more inquisitor-esque ones.

When this stuff goes to retail, will it be spread out, or will it be one glorious wave release with everything at once?

@ Anvil

Dunno if itys been asked but was the greenlight (especially now that all the stretch goals have been smashed) ever given to the Burning Rose Mech/not-penitent-engine/feudal sentinel? I cant find the art of it but it looked super awesome and was really hoping it would get to see the light of day as there's not many things in that particular niche among the model companies, doubly so with the medieval aesthetic.

Bonus points if someone can link me the pic or pm it to me.
Nevermind, found it with google-fu

There's really not long left, but look at these renders from today's update:

Need to pick my jaw up off the floor.

Ironjack - that's gone up as a £60k stretch goal. They were on £58k as of about 5 minutes ago with 45 mins left on the KS. Do-able, but doubtful at this stage.

Massive congrats to Joel and the team for such an awesome Kickstarter and an amazingly strong finish. May need to throw some more money in while filling out the pledge manager...

Ah dang

Would've been great to see the mech. Heres to hoping it does see production either from late pledges or when the line comes out in full. I would love to field them a sentinels for my knightworld IG.

Edit*
Nevermind! Anvil confirmed the mech will still be designed but released with retail and a special discount for KS backers. I could not be happier with this Kickstarter!

I'd love to see a mech too, seeing as how Zombicide won't give me one.

Had to cancel my pledge due to "responsibilities" or whatever the kids call it but glad that the late pledge will be available... hopefully with a paypal option so I don't get spousal stink- eye!

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Not sure if there's anything special about the Inceptor bases, but Litko sells all kinds of bases including flying bases.

Yes. Anvil has said there will be a option for late pledges from folks that couldn't back while the KS was going on

I am totally exhausted...

Time for a week or two of not thinking about this project at all! Then back to it with a vengeance! The crusade won't wait.

Details of late pledges etc to follow.

Thanks everyone!

Those bases have a curved stand so that it connect to the back of the mini instead of its crotch. Unfortunately Litko doesn't seem to have this type of bases but thanks anyhow.

Hello everyone!

While we were busy with our Kickstarter, we passed an important arbitrary milestone!

41,252 orders on our webstore since we launched www.anvilindustry.co.uk!

To celebrate, we are giving away FREE War hammers! until June 14th!

Anyone who places an order with a value of at least £15 (17 euros, 20 USD) will have a sprue of FREE War hammers included with their order automatically.

You can also purchase additional sprues if desired, and they will remain available for regular sale on the website after the promotion ends.

So, if you are tired of paying inflated prices for War hammers, get some free from Anvil Industry!

War hammers (the medieval melee weapon) should not be confused with Warhammer™, the totally awesome but entirely unrelated war gaming system owned by Games Workshop Ltd.

I picked up some of your sitting legs hoping they'd work for passengers in Mantic's Mule

and indeed they do (might be worth considering a sprue of sitting legs only for this?)

Edit: these are from the Armoured Sitting/Kneeling Legs set and require a little bit of fiddling to fit with the genestealer cult mining suit torsos, but would work unaltered with cadian style ones. Anvil also have fatigue, militia, dress uniform and greatcoat versions depending on the look your passengers are going for.

Morning all,

The project is still going strongly, but as things stand at the moment we are not going to be unlocking any "major project" stretch goals.

The upside of this is that it means delivery of the project will be sped up, and those of you who prefer to wait for retail and to see the exact finished models will be able to get them sooner than would otherwise have been the case!

@Viking Child - The issue with a head like that is that its tricky to get it to work as a separate component.

I don't think we will do a full sprue, but I will see if its feasible to sneak a head like that onto one of the upgrade sprues.

Thanks

Joel

Hmmm yeah i hadn't thought about that; as a separate component it might end up looking somewhat unnatural... But if it could be done it'd be pretty cool, not just for the DotBR range but for other conversions in general!

But thanks for your response, if one makes it to an upgrade sprue i'd be happy enough!

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but Anvil have semi-quietly put an event exclusive model up on the webstore for a limited time (they don;t say 'til when). Mine came in the post yesterday and I've gotta say even by their standards it's impressively cast:

Other than the bath all resin needs, it will need literally no other prep work. No matter how hard I've looked I cannot find any trace of a mould line or flash.

Kudos once again, Joel & team.

Very nice. I'm not sure when I'd ever need a halberdier but that looks sharp.

And it's good to know Anvil is still on top of their casting, it's the main reason I backed the KS so heavily.

Good evening all,

Bit of a radio silence from us recently. We have been furiously busy behind the scenes working on our Kickstarter and some recent releases!

@OrlandotheTechnicoloured - Thanks for posting that photo, looks great! We are going to make sitting legs available just by themselves, we need to find time to make the moulds needed!

@Sockwithaticket - thanks for posting that up and the review of the casting quality! £10 for a single piece model I think is still good value but we do make sure they are all extremely high quality casts!

The Limited edition London Yeoman, Artwork by Thomas attached below, is indeed available now, but only for another 9 days until the end of June.

Get yours HERE

We have also just released a huge range of different regiments bionic conversion parts, legs arms and heads, which allow loads of conversion possibility with Regiments and similar size human models.

Check out the New Bionics Here

Thanks all, we will be back soon with more Kickstarter updates, and next month - the first of three waves of Regiments Traitor/Renegade releases!

If you're in the Kickstarter, the Yeoman may be available via the Pledge Manager. I'll check the Anvil email later.
