first of all quick note to the administrators, I wasnt sure about placement of topic like this which includes drawings etc so I opened it here. If it doesnt belong here please remove it or send me a notice so I could do it.

I opened this topic to share with you some of my art/paintings so I could receive some feedback. Under every pic I will c/p description from DA page so you could see my idea behind piece and so on.

As you will see my inspiration and influence comes from the 2000 AD comics and similar "old-school" stuff, that doesnt mean I dont like new pieces GW does, quite opposite. but those older works have some sentimental value.
My first minis were from Realms of Chaos and Slaves to darkness era so I grew up on those fantastic black and white art then came Blanche and my personal favorite Mark Gibbons.

After reading First Heretic I was impressed the way they were presented there so I tried to do one. I imagine most of them were not so happy with becoming "Dr. Jeckill and Mr.Hyde" and so I tried to do him looking menacing and scary but in constant pain also.

Story behind this one is: Warsmith and his warband found Jokaero inhabited moon. They tried to make contact with them to acquire their digital weapons but Jokaero ignored them totally and keep moving with their own business. Warsmith lost his patience and ordered slaughter of all living beings on the moon.

Could you please link your dA page in the OP? Without it, we don't know whether they're actually yours or if you just saved a few pictures from dA, copied and pasted the descriptions, and then claimed credit, which is plagiarism.

It's easier for posters and the site owners if we can verify that you are actually the artist.

Sent you some feedback overall I think it's good, realy likening the last one.

Very nice. I especially like the Chosen Son. Looks menacing yet tormented, well done.

I'm a little more skeptical; the lack of shading makes the more complicated pictures a little hard to look at, and the female Inquisitor looks like a dominatrix after significant breast enhancement surgery. The 40k universe is supposed to be at least a tad grittier than bizarre old-school sci-fi, I don't think outfits like that appear anywhere outside of the Dark Eldar and a bit of Sororitas fetish fanart.

My favorites are the Obliterators and the Chosen Son, they do a pretty good job of getting across the twisted/mutilated nature of Warp-touched Marines.

Eversor assassin in charge. Tried some minimalistic coloring with black and white and red as only color to give some sharp contrast. With this one I tried to draw Eversor with smaller head, more ninjaesque (I believe that is not word) look.

Everyones favourite madman - Angron (before Emperors coming).
This one shows Angron fighting in one of arenas on his "home" planet, looking scary, angry etc.

Should I put pics in this size or smaller?

A comment of mine would be that I think they are too clean and the scales aren't quite right yet.
I'm guessing you did this digitally? One thing that throws a spanner in that guess though is the saturation of the red on the eversor which suggests otherwise.

@Blaggard - No everything I draw is done in traditional way, although i enjoy digital art and watch in ave digital artist for me traditional way feels much better (nothing can compare when you screw up in traditional way and there is no ctrl-z ).
I just put trough photoshop finished work to clean lines resize it etc.

The evisor I think is posed a little bit odd, and makes him look flat on the page. Otherwise I think looks quite good.

Emperors children lord o.o I would say this is awsome, if you can do this consistently and do a good background I would say your doing well

Adeptus arbiters. This one I think is perfect and fits your style well. Only natural improvement over time will realy change it

Angron. Wow this is everything your first inquisitor pic could have been. The background has lots of detail but doesn't overbear and he is a great center peace

Its definitely unpleasant feeling when you wake up on medical convention attended by Dark Eldar and Fabius Bile.
I tried some other perspectives on this one, to be precise it should have look like first person perspective looking up from medical table.

After long time here is something new. I didnt draw anything for at least year and a half (probably two years) but then I run into great group of people who wanted to do community revision/update of Inquisimunda rules. Maybe you heard about Inquisimunda but in case you didnt it is Necromunda with added Inquisition elements and gangs etc. I decided to do Ork Freebootaz crew.

Wow. Apart from the fact that boobs don't work that way, that Repentia is amazing.
