Another cool couple of sets of Avengers, I think you should get the whole lot out for a narrative game. The last stand of a Shrine perhaps, that could be quite cool?

Too bad about the move from troops to elites, hope you can field some of them, because they look amazing!

They look great, and Boo! about the move to Elites. What on earth was behind that (apart from perhaps a cynical move to sell other things) is beyond me

Thanks for sharing

Yes youwashock good catch. You are correct, as the broken bits I received had no hand, or glaive blade...so a sword should suffice.

It has been a few months without any old Eldar. Well, I have one model that needed to be painted...and this month's Unofficial Painting competition is 'A Helping Hand'. Since I did not have any Medics or Apothecaries to paint, I figured a 'helping hand' could be that extra little bit of damage to destroy a multi wound enemy...which the Vyper excels at.

I have one of these in a sorry state awaiting a refurbishment. Maybe your sure-to-be-excellent job will spur me on to get on with the job. Now that would be a helping hand.

Great thought there theCrowe.

WIP.

Because you cannot seal the model with the clear canopy attached, otherwise you get clouding. So that is why the model is still in separate parts.

Anyone notice the other change to the model from the original?

It’s the ammo clip instead of the big belt-feed on that shrieker cannon.

Looking great so far. Lots of progress early on this month.

I’d love to see a group shot of all your jet bikes. Guardians, Farseer, shining spears, warlock and viper. That’d be a nice looking force,

Great job on the Vyper, I still think it holds up as a great sculpt. I bought one on release and was amazed by what a futuristic kit it was. And that Camo slaps

Thank you Gwyn.

I have some conversions for an alternate turret and forward mount weapons for a Wave Serpent and several weapons for the Platforms/War Walkers.

If anyone has some spare Falcon turrets, let me know.

Finished up these options for War Walkers, Vyper, and Wave Serpent. There are two conversions in the lot, can you spot them?

Much more impressive when mounted on the platform.

Thanks Olthannon,

Yes, the very first one I built long before these two, showed me the value of blue/white poster tac.

Thank you gobert, working on getting there...speaking of WYSIWYG, next up is the conversion of an old Dark Reaper Exarch.

Converted to make him useful...that bolo thing made no sense game wise.

When finished he will be my entry for the Unofficial Monthly Painting Competition (which is 'Space Marines')...

That's an interesting take on the model-- having him grip the Reaper Launcher rather than having slung under his forearm. I agree, though, that the Flail of Skulls doesn't really fit the model or the unit he is supposed to lead.

Now showing The Fellowship of the Ring, along with some Dreadball Captains!

Painting total as of 4/13/2024: 31 plus a set of modular spaceship terrain

Painting total for 2023: 79 plus 28 Battlemechs and a Dragon-Balrog

I love the classic colors on this guy, and the black-and-white tabard thing as well.

Great work cap.

I always did wondered how the promotion ceremony went for Reaper Exarchs.
“Behold the Exarch! Whose deadly accuracy at range with missiles has been proven upon the field of battle on countless worlds across the galaxy. But you won’t be needing that anymore.” “Behold the Skull-Net of frustration.”

My own Eldar entry is coming together slowly but should done in time.
