So the big amphibious vehicle with the giant harpoon is based off of a lazy forger land battleship, the little crew dudes on it are bits blitz designs, the 4 legged guys in the background are from vanguard miniatures, the docks shacks are also by the lazy forger, the oasis is from battlefield in a box and the crabs I found on thingiverse. Big thanks to Richard from ROK Minis for printing the vehicles for me, insanely sharp. Fluff wise I see it as a big amphibious hunting vehicle that the local fisheries use to patrol the tide pools and coastal reefs picking up any megafauna they can eat. That's so cool Crablezworth, really characterful! I had been thinking of coming up with some bonkers alien designs for a setting for 30k/Great Crusade, had been thinking bugs or spiders, but now may be thinking crabs

Thanks guy, legio venator's background is they spent like a century ridding their homeworld of giant spiders that could get so big they could even hurt titans, giant crabs will hopefully be less of a problem

There's so many great crab model files too, I found those free on thingiverse but there were also some paid files with a lot more character/threat to them. There's some cool semi submerged stuff too.

I wonder if you could do something with the old starship troopers rules. One crab = one warrior bug, one knight = one walker (marauder suits I think they were called), a base of infantry = one infantry model.

There's a scenario in molech with dangerous megafauna that attack knights, could re-jiggle those rules for mega crabs

Wrote a whole bunch of fluff for it too, it's sorta like AT's version of the leopard dropship from battletech. It's basically a way for knight households to deploy small banners rapidly into combat.

Automatically Appended Next Post: So my vanguard order arrived yesterday and in it was a bunch of cool stuff, for starters the holo tables that malika designed. I added some to the civitas/ruins. Also a couple bits blitz dudes. I also built one of the troublemaker games landing pads and added one of the holo tables to hat, the one with the ship on it, Built a couple crawlers and added some bits blitz and vanguard dudes to them, also put a lazy forger crate in one of them and one of the ruins. Lastly made another objective marker, this one with one of the holo tables and a bunch of bits blitz/vanguard and dark art's emperor's choir dudes.

Amazing! I love the holo table and the collection of individuals standing around it, extremely characterful!
I have got one of those landing pads too, hoping to get it put together over the next few weeks. I like that it came with the AA guns which is a pretty cool addition.

Ya the holo tables are brilliant, perfect for objectives. The pads are super efficient, I love too that you can build them flat first and put the support on after and they're perfectly seamless. Great value too.

Board setup from today's game. I really like this battle mat, it makes eyeing out the building placement a breeze. Also helps to have the lines/road if anyone bumps any of the buildings by accident. Easy to put them back. I made sure to space everything at around 5 inches, enough for warlord/warmaster to move between the gaps. It's mostly civitas terrain. Some have been modified with ruins, those are from troublemaker games. The big warehouse is by grumpy guy gaming, it's one of his free files you can find it on thingiverse. There's a grimdark terrain ruin towards the back. The castles are converted from aquarium castles. The hotel is converted from the bits blitz designs hab. There's also bits blitz designs little civilian dudes on almost all the buildings, if you close you can see them on the roofs or manning the doors on the gas station. There's some vanguard miniatures holo tables in a few of the ruins, you can only see one on the right but they add a lot of character. Lastly there's some bits from the lazy forger on a lot of rooftops, the antennas and windmills and crates/gas cans. I think that covers everything.

So the first campaign from the lazy forger for their game full spectrum dominance just finished. Took some shots of some of the new terrain and some of the minis from the sample pack.
Photoshop fun, was watching war of the worlds, there's some great perspective shots that made me think of AT. My lucius warlord looking like it had a bad day, collapsed into building. My buddy's warlord lookin evil as usual. The last shot is cool, the tripod basically have void shields so it looks like missiles are impacting on the warlord's voids.

More pics of the lazy forger full spectrum dominance stuff, I got the medina building made, also added a bunch of the sci fi bits to them and the other buildings. A genius idea by the lazy forger was to make the medina buildings look timeless but offer bits to make them loom more modernized by adding antennas and ventilation pipes and signs. There's also these great little mini water towers.

Automatically Appended Next Post: Got the warehouses done, managed to salvage the ones that didn't print well and made them looked bombed-out and wrecked. Added some vehicles and other bits too, got some little bits blitz robots in the fuel warehouse and some in the one with shelves. Got some vanguard dudes and holo table in one of the bombed-out warehouses. Really impressed with these, they remind me a lot of fallout and the movie lord of war.

The Ordo Reductor - the guy's who make wonderful things like the Landraider Achillies, but can't use them in battle..
I added some bits blitz balconies to a few civitas buildings and some lazy forger medina buildings that had misprinted slightly. Also bit of a preview of the megafauna seafood plant. I broke the signs off some of the balconies to re-position them a bit.
Work on the troublemaker games landing pads continues, was gifted some old 10mm tanks from dropzone commander by a buddy so decided to rip the turrets off and put them under one of the pads to make it mobile. Got the holo table on the elevated pad done. Lastly work is half way there on the holo table objective marker.

And finally this dice tray is super useful, a member of a local AT group from quebec made it and best part is the file is free and can even be made into a carrying case with magnetic top.
The best thing about it though is it gives me somewhere to put the 5 dice used most in AT, both myself and opponents are constantly looking for our reactor or location or scatter die or our d10's as both sides only have a couple so its a great place to put them between rolls/activations.

Fantastic! Love the imagination of the floating crystal and moving landing pad.
Tremendous print quality on those buildings, I had some from a similar template that I bought online that were appalling (needed so much work to even get to a tabletop standard).

Excited about the floating crystal, not quite sure what colour to paint it just yet though.
So I've been thinking more about the grimdark crodax models. The recent releases also added more turret options to the crodax platform so I decided it'd be a good time to update the terminal. I added some of the new turret options, as well as expanded into optional upgrades via purchasing a crodax a "land train" that could carry a bunch of different payload or loadouts. The thought was not everyone's got the ability to take a full on ordinatus in their games, but a crodax may be more viable. I want people to think of the crodax as basically a small ordiantus unto itself, much larger than super heavy battle tanks, it's basically what legios or tech magos use to command from titan legios and knight households from the front lines.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Crodax live, still got a bit more work to do magnetizing them. Went with a triple small turret setup but going to mag all the turret hard points so I'm not locked into any one loadout. Put a hound and reaver in for scale, the crodax are quite big. Best way to think of them is entry level ordinatus. As I hoped the crodax and land train go together really well thematically. I feel like an 80mm base would probably just barely work but seeing as for my purposes they'd be played as count as knights for the most part the base is less of an issue given everything is 360 arc. If you scroll down I've got a post from last week with a terminal for these guys.

Updated the terminal to version 5, grimdark released some more turret files today so now it can field most of the warhound weapons as well. Also updated the crodax upgrades to version 2, added some more and fixed the blind missile one to be an upgrade for apocalypse missile launchers now. I added vortex as an option for loyalists. Also the new grimdark comes with what looks like a cool little statue so I made a traitor only option where you'd out that or something similar on one of the land train trailers, has the same effect as a comms relay, basically lowers enemy command by 1 within 18. Also because there's some cool land train options that look like they'd contain fuel I made a phosphex option for crodax with the inferno gun, adds 6 inches before you put the template down and +1 strength. Lastly added an option that adds 6 inches to the short and long range of plasma blastguns and experimental choom guns provided the crodax doesn't move. A lot of the options now cause a single S9 hit to units within 7 inches if the crodax is destroyed.
Background was ai generated (not by me). Added my friend's corrupted titan and some thanatars as well as a few wrecked warhounds in the foreground, found those as part of a make on cults3d.
