Pics.

As the site mentions, I have extra Winterguard and a
Berserker for the Kovnik. Next will be a manhunter. From
there I'll just purchase whatever is available at the store (I'm
thinking they'll have a mortar team and maybe a bokur next
time I'm there).

I really do have to start painting my mercs so that I'm spending
less on faction specific armies.

I still dig 'em. I ran an Irusk force last weekend that was comprised of:
Irusk
10x WG
Mortar
Widowmakers
Greylords
Manhunter
Eiyriss
Kovnik
Juggy

Against Cryx. Played 'em stupid and lost badly (was doing fine until the feat got popped), but Irusk, the Kovnik and Eyriss almost pulled it out of the fire by themselves. I think you'll like using Irusk a lot.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

Sure. In about a year when it's all bought and paid for.

Da Southern New Hampshire!

The painting is fine, about table top goodness.
But if you want the colors to really stand out, go in with black and outline them.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

Do you always use black? I went to a seminar where they used mostly brown or
some other neutral color other than black.

Black lines tend to make things 'pop' more, it gives things a cartoony sort of feel, also makes them seem dark. You'll notice marvel and dc started looking a lot more gritty once they started using black to shade their characters instead of just a darker version of a colour. With your painting, some black lines would go a long way, trying to play around with off colours wouldn't. In my opinion, of course .
