Question: My Steel Legion all come standard with a rolled up poncho or bedroll on the back of the model. Would anyone in a tournament have any objection if I declared that poncho to be my cameoline cloak (just not in use right now)?

Oooh, that sounds interesting. If you painted it in a cool lil cameo-scheme, I don't think anyone would mind. I don't think. Then again, I'm not exactly an expert on the subject.
Of course, if you have some of the models with the bedroll/poncho that aren't cameoline, that'll be damning. Consistency is the crux of WYSIWYG.

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias |

I was going to paint the poncho rolls in 3 part camo, but it didn't look very good, so I left them yellow-brown. My Steel Legion are painted grey so the cloaks are for use in sandy areas where the ash isn't so prevalent. It is very consistent: I have 70 steel legion and they all have them. It's no problem at all as long as every model that has the roll also has cameoline.

How about sculpting greatcoats to represent cameoline cloaks? Acceptable, or no?
