This took me a long time, mostly because other pieces were more important and I didn't had full clarity how to paint this guy.
But here he is - mighty Goldeneye, the Grey Knight bane ;P Comments most welcomed!

Wow, looking good. Though some of the GS work lacks a little detail, it looks fearsome. And personally i respect creativity in modelling more than someone that simply paints a prefabricated miniature.

How did you work on the beak? Is there some metal framework in there, like maybe in the nails on his claws? Good work!

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

I like it, very original.

The head seems a little too small in comparison to the neck/shoulders, especially in picture #2.

Thanks guys!

Heads for original prince are even smaller, but probably having heavier looking beak would be nice too.

@spincr I used no metal there. It was just flat GS modelled on triangle pencil and left to cure, than cut to appropriate shape. So the whole beak is created from two parts, like "shells". Good idea for simple beaks is also to use appropriate pistachio shells.

I quite like the blending on the beak and the wings.

Thx. I used wet-blending on the beak and did the wings with an airbrush.

Haha, thanks

I hate patching holes as well! When you grab nice piece of GS, get the right tool and remember to moisture it, you can make really nice things. Just try it!

I really like what you've done here. Great job man! It's awesome what you've managed to do with some greenstuff and pauldrons, and the chainmail is very well done.

Not a bad idea! I do use plastic leftover bits as much as possible, in terrain or so
