I have been tossing around some ideas for Nurgle bikers for a bit now. I tried a few things but I think I have settled on using the spiders from the goblin spider riders. I am curious to see what others think and if there are any comments, questions or rude remarks. I put them together from a few sprues; CSMs, Possessed, Spawn, and WHF Chaos Knights. Bear in mind none are painted yet but I have a scheme I will be using.

This is the Chaos Lord with Blake Mace, the green on his left arm is count as twin-link boltgun. Also if I feel that the mace does not work out I might be able to get away with saying the mace is a power fist and the left arm is a lightning claw.

Next up is my champion, but the more I think about it I may just use him as a sorcerer.

These are the two melta gun bikers, not much else to say. Give credit where credit is due though, the conversions for the meltas I got from [url]http://www.heresy-online.net/forums/showthread.php?t=16567

Basic bikers and a kinda rough draft of the final product.

Lastly is a size comparison between a Raven Wing Biker and these spider ones.

Looks pretty good, interested on seeing them pan out... too bad the spiders are so static

The spider-bikers are too low to the ground.
If you could cut and reposition the legs to make them less static and taller, I think it would look much better.

I love the idea, but the spider bodies seem too small. Not just too short like others are saying; the scale of it seems wrong to me compared to the torso. I'm not sure how you could fix that, seeing as that's how big those spider models are, it's just a shame they aren't longer as well as taller.

I could attempt to cut them between the back two and front two legs. As far as repositioning the legs I will start working on one to make them seem less static.

I like these a lot. I agree they would be better a little taller. I am looking forward to seeing how they pan out.

A well thought out closing remark.

You could easily change the length as well as height by making them 'ant's and giving them an extra middle section and loosing a set of legs.

I am currently taking commissions.

Cool idea. A bit low as stated I'd add more to the marines torso myself. Maybe build up the bases?

So this is a very rough draft but would something as simple as just repositioning the front legs work?

These Nurgly bikers are very cool. I really like how you have included lots of personal details on them. This makes them look much more interesting, I like it when people convert their models in a way to make them unique.
