Here's a WH list I'm working on. It's supposed to be a competitive list and I'm trying to fit in a whole whack of vehicles. Tell me what you think. It's a 1700 pt list and I currently have 58 spare points. All Chimeras are multilaser/heavy bolter with no kit , razorbacks are HvyB no kit. Questions - enough anti-armour, enough scoring units, what (if any) kit for the tanks?

 

Inq Lord - Inf Pistol, ccw, Melta Bombs, Psychic hood, Carapace

Retinue: 3 warriors- 2 w melta, 2 Acolytes w carapace, Chimera

 

6 Storm Troopers - 2 Melta, Chimera

6 Storm Troopers - 2 Plamsa, Chimera

6 Storm Troopers - 2 Plasma, Chimera

6 Tactical Marines - Lascannon, Plasma Gun, Razorback

6 Tactical Marines - Lascannon, Plasma Gun, Razorback

 

3 Land Speeders (separate squds) all with Multimelta

3 Predator Destructors - All with HvyBltr sponsons

The Hammer

I'd run your melta squads in Rhinos and possibly get a second IST x2 melta in a Rhino with the savings - or better yet, a Callidus to give you at least one fighty thing.
While multi-melta speeders are nice, unless you are specifically avoiding assault cannons, you should take tornadoes. So much more flexible and better AT at 12"-24". You might also consider swopping the TLHB on the Razorbacks for TLLC, considering you have destructors. I personally prefer Annihilators with heavy bolter sponsons for much better AT than a Destructor with only a marginal loss of AP power, but people have all kinds of preferences in that department.
You might also want to double check the legality of thee Predators allied to WH - I know DH can't do it but don't have the WH codex. If it turns out you can't, you should be able to take a whirlwind and a vennie with extra armour and possibly missile launcher instead.
Another idea is an Assault Squad, or some kind of Witch Hunter melee unit for counterattack.
A nice list, but it looks like you could firm it up a bit.

Actually, I was sort of avoiding the tornado, but realisticly all three should be changed. My initial thought was to firm up my comp score by excluding them, and the multi-melta still does anti-tank quite well. As for counter-assault i've triesd many variation of this list that had CA of varying sorts, but wasn't happy with the comensurate loss of firepower. Although I have to admit that the thought of Arco-Flegellants screaming up field behind Predator cover puts a big ol' smile on my face.

I did consider taking annihilators with Hb sponsons (thats my current fav pred), but the points cost made me rethink - perhaps if i upgraded some but not all?. For the same reason I don't think I'll run twin-las razorbacks - 90pts is just too much for a single weapon AV 11 vehicle. Oh, and WH don't have the same restrictions on allied units as DH do, so you can field three of any unit. Let me consider and perhaps repost the list aftersome other commentary (if i get any). Thanks.
