Hi guys this is my first proper army and I decided to go with orks. I started out with 2x AOBR boxes and individualy customized each boy and nobz pose with miliput and a knife. I'm slowly adding to my list and would love some feedback on my progress.

Are the barrels drilled? It's hard to tell, it looks like they might be. I think you did a good job of making the AoBR orks unique looking.

Yes mate all drilled.

I just angled all the heads then filled the gaps with green stuff. Apart from that it was just changing the angles of the guns and choppas.

All painted up with mostly washes. I got another 4 meganobz and some lootas to do next.

Only gripe (nitpick actually) I could find is the eye piece looks weird in the second photo, but that could just be the lighting + angle.

Also, are you still painting the miniatures in the first one? The middle one looks a bit dull with black paints, and also consider (this is more a personal choice) adding the yellow to the guns as well a little bit on the side panels just to make them not so dull (swords are fine).

OK thanks mate I will adjust the eye piece and add some more yellow to the guns. I batch painted everything so might of missed some work on some of the guys.

Guys what do you think of the color scheme for this dude? I wanted to keep a lot of bad mood yellow but also some red to seperate them from my other boys. Do you think it looks good? I now have 50 boys painted up with 10 nobz. Hopefully get my other 4 tankbustaz done tomorrow.

Really good work. I'm glad you're trying to stick with bad moon yellow. I really like it when large ork armies look unified and not just a stramash of colour. Also, you've clearly nailed painting yellow.

Thanks mate appreciate the feed back. The rest of my regular boys have yellow rockets but I decided to give these guys red rockets to make them stand out as specialist units as if they had painted them themselves or had a special type.

Thanks mate I just mixed a small bit of flash gitz yellow in to the yellow wash and put it over a white primer. Them just highlighted a couple of areas.

I'll post up the finished squad and my lootaz later today.

Any suggestions on how to paint my deffkoptas? I was thinking either paint the entire thing yellow or black with hints of yellow.

Yeh, I'd just go black with yellow accent pieces. I just like dark, dirty orks. And, like I say, with one unifying colour across the whole force. Even just have the pilot wearing yellow. Just my opinion, it's a look I really like.

Thanks for the advice guys I think i will put the deffkoptas to the back of the line until i decide.

Just finished painting up 9 lootas and 4 tankbustas. Let me know what you think of the paint schemes. The lootas were 2nd hand so had some drastic mold line and re gluing to do on them. I know i need to drill their barrels better im just waiting on a new bit.

So that is now 50 boyz, 10 nobz, 9 lootas and 4 tankbustas painted up.

just waiting on my tankbusta nobs powerklaw to arrive in mail, so i will paint him and the 2 bomb squigs up when it arrives.

drill the barrels. you can get a super cheap drimmel. Work on doing the bases. oh... and more dakka.

Thanks man yeah I have drilled the barells now. I'm still thinking for ways to do the base as I want it to look good but be quick to do 100 boys.
