Hey all.
While waiting for the kickstarter figures to come in We've decided to just proxy with some old figures

Over the christmas holidays our local game club is looking to play a large (8 playerish) western shootout type game. Were gonna try and use the Blackwater rules
I was wondering if anyones created a player aid handout I could use to give to people so it would be easier for them to get the the hang of the game as we go.
me and one other guy should hopefully know the rules well enought to run but some basic player aids would be great to hand out to anyone that shows up.

If anyones working on something like that I'd love a copy
If not I guess I'll have to start one

There will be quickstart rules included with each starter set, but if you need it now I could make you a PDF. Also the last page of the printed rulebook is a quick reference sheet, so I could give you a PDF of that too if that would help.

Awesome looking board you got there, by the way. You should post more pics in here; inspiration is always welcome!

I would love a quick start rule PDF. and I missed the cheat sheet on page 83....ya that might work as a general handout.

This is gonna be my attempt to introduce this rule system and figure line to the club. for the most part its meant to be a light fun holiday experience. The hope is we'll have 8 to 10 for the event, but we want to keep it light since its more holiday cheer and gaming then "serious" gaming.

Derek mentioned wanting to do a jail break with a train. This made me think of two things.
1. 3:10 to Yuma
2. Team fortress the hunted game mode.( its an escort game mode if you haven't played it)

So my idea was to set up the scenario where on one side of the map has the train and the other has the jail house. The objective is for the "Law" to get the prisoner from the jail house to the Train before 3:10
Depending on attendance we can scale the number of law men crews defending and the number of gangs looking to capture the prisoner for the bounty equally. Lawmen would work cooperatively trying for the same goal(get the prisoner to the train) and the gangs would all be trying to capture the prisoner to get a bounty for his capture.(I think the prisoner would have to be invulnerable while escorted for this to work).

Then depending on how many show up we'll split everyone up into either posse's or Gangs. I'm hoping to be able to make up a big townhall Clock as a game turn counter on a poster board and as a game timer.
