Is GW just so smug that they ignore the fact that NOBODY likes matt ward. You may not hate him but ive never encountered someone who isnt either a troll or power gamer who has said somthing good about him. Two wound dark angel termies? Sure Grey Knoghys 2.0 Electric Boogalo! 36 in plasma pistol never gets hot? Why that sounds fair AND fluffy!
Terminator Robots who used to parody "Ill be back" with the "we'll be back" rule use GODS as pokemon? Have flyers that are anti-everything? Brag about a fictional army's achievments? Why not!

1. He did not write the Dark angels codex

2. The terminators you mention only have 1 wound.

3.Raging about him for things he has not even done, just goes to show its just a bandwagon that people jump on when their favorite toys are not what they want.

Well Ward hasn't written the DA codex and some people absolutely do like Matt Ward.

I for one do not dislike the guy at all. I think he has made some bad units but overall I like the cut of his jib.

You may want to consider some alternatives if you feel this strongly.

His books are solid, not broken you realize the internets version of broken is effed up the moment you see some idiot claiming ork boys are broken because their tau gunline can't beat them in CC.

Well, I like the books of Ward. Not fluffwise, but he knows that every unit should have a role and not being useless. As a comparison, look at Kelly's CSM codex.

Not sure if GW listens to customers? Maybe not too much. But I'm sure they keep an eye on the internet sites like Dakka.

By the way, the store manager of GW Berlin Spandau got fired these days. He was a bit a strange guy and obviously not very nice to all his customers. So some customers wrote a letter or two to the head quarters in Düsseldorf. That was it and now after Christmas he will not have a job at GW anymore. So they seem to listen...

No, GW doesn't listen to its 'fans'.

To the company, it has no fans, only customers.

If you buy stuff from them, you are a customer - and the sound of cash registers is the only sound they hear.

If you don't buy their stuff, they can't hear you, no matter how loud you nerdrage. If you buy their stuff and rage, all they hear is the "ching" of the transaction, nowt else.

I went too far on this one but no, id like to see explanations of why someone likes dislikes ward. In truth part of the reason I dislike him is because he made my old army just.....all I have to say is gauss airforce.

I like Matt Ward because he writes solid rules, with lots of different units that work well and the potential for a few different builds. Yes it would be nice if he could write better fluff but if you want some better written fluff take a look at the black library titles for the army.
