Simple question, really.

If Necrons get back up and rejoin coherency with their unit over a castellan minefield, does the unit get hit by mines?

I would be tempted to say yes, as it is a form of movement.  However, this answer would directly parallel the current argument about Necrons being within 1" of an enemy model.  If WBB is considered a movement, then they can't do it if enemy models are around them.

They are "placed" not moved.

If that's the case then models in transports aren't affected by minefields, either, as they are 'deployed'.  I'm fine with that as long as there is consistency.  Droppods can land on minefields with no penalty, too.  So can any deepstrikers.

A new day, a new time zone.

Sure they can land there, but they're going to have problems walking out.

Models that deploy from vehicles count as moving.... at least as far as shooting is concerned. also in the Necron FAQ disembarkation is considered movement as well.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.
