My brother has taken an interest in the game, Space Marine armies in particular. So I know the DA update is coming but just for getting into the game on the cheap I was thinking of getting him Belial, 2 of the DV Terinator Squads and the DV Tactical Marines for camping a home objective does it look like this may make a 750 or so army to get his foot in the door?

Yeah I was just getting a rough idea figuring they wouldn't change the rule that Belial makes Terms Troops, I can wait until tomorrow but am leaning for cheap.

Honestly, no one outside GW knows right now. There's some rather fierce debate on the topic currently. Opinions range from the rule being otherwise unchanged to it being a wargear option for Int-Chappies and Librarians to it being related to the command squad. Again, no one really knows. That said, there will be newer (read: awesomer) looking Termis coming out soon and Belial will have a new model as well. If you go barebones (ie: no upgrades), you are at 725 with a 9 man tac squad. That doesn't leave a whole lotta room for extras, ya know?

A quick cheap dark angels army can be had by buying dark vengeance, and you get the mini rulebook which is awesome, then you can sell the chaos stuff (or keep it yourself) after that an excellent way to expand even further at minimal cost is to buy the dark angels half of the boxset for very cheap on ebay.
2 commanders (1 for conversion)
2 librarians (1 for conversion)
20 marines
6 bikes
10 terminators
Boom!

With two termi units at 235 leaked cost its 470, AC is probably 20 or so, so 510 minimum with Dv termi units, Belial will most definitely see an increase of atleast 50 points, so low guesstimate is 180, ( I imagine he will be in the 200s, bc of leaked Sammy), so we are 690, you can't even fit in a min squad of marines in 60 pts, I'd personally shoot for 1k should allow for a nicely kited tac squad and afew other toys like bikes or something other to round you out, so I second two Dv sets of angels can prob get it for 40-50 dollars per
