Spoiler:

The GW sales pitch...

Never forget, never forgive!

The Dark Angels are among the most loyal servants of the Emperor, who stand foremost amongst the Space Marines, Mankind's mightiest defenders. Since the founding of their Legion, they have been dreaded by their enemies and held in awe by those they protect.

Available to Advance Order today are a host of stunning new Dark Angel plastic kits and Citadel Finecast releases, as well as the brand new Codex: Dark Angels.

Spearheading the new range of miniatures is the Ravenwing Dark Talon and Nephilim Jetfighter kit - while the Dark Talon variant features motifs and design elements that are based on artefacts found on Caliban itself, the Nephilim Jetfighter displays more ferocious weaponry. Both will make impressive models in any Warhammer 40,000 collection.

The LandSpeeder Vengeance kit can also be used to make a Ravenwing Darkshroud, giving the collector plenty of options - you can choose to add the icons and structures from Caliban, evoking glorious religious imagery, or opt for extra firepower in the form of a plasma storm battery.

Also available to Advance Order today is the Deathwing Command Squad kit, which makes up a full Command Squad, but it can also be used to make a unit of Deathwing Knights or five Deathwing Terminators, each of which comes with a staggering array of weapons options. Each unit comes resplendent in the iconography of the Dark Angels and will provide numerous options for the Warhammer 40,000 collector and modeller alike.

The Ravenwing Command Squad kit, which can be also used to make a unit of Ravenwing Black Knights, comes adorned in iconography of the Dark Angels, and also features a beautifully embossed, amazingly detailed banner. Finally, there are new Dark Angels models in our premium Citadel Finecast resin, such as the Grand Master of the Deathwing, Belial, and Asmodai, Master Interrogator-Chaplain.

The new Codex: Dark Angels is a beautiful tome. This 104-page full-colour hardback book contains dynamic artwork; the history of the First Legion and their greatest battles; a description of, and rules for, the forces of the Dark Angels Space Marines; a stunning show case of Citadel miniatures, presenting the uniforms, heraldry and insignia of the Unforgiven and their Successor Chapters; and much more.

Codex: Dark Angels is also available in a lavish limited edition format - though make sure you order it quickly, as there are only 2,000 copies available, and we can't guarantee just how long they'll last...

And for the first time, you'll be able to pre-order a digital edition of Codex: Dark Angels for your iPad via the iTunes store.

In fact, you probably should just head straight over to games-workshop.com now to see the jaw-dropping new releases in their entirety. We've also made some one-click collections available for those who want to get every one of the new releases or who want to start a new themed collection of miniatures.

Don't forget, all of these products are available with fast, free shipping, and a no quibble returns policy. Our friendly customer service teams are always on standby to help you with your order.

Hmm, looking at those Terms, they did include the CML that I didn't think they would.

However it looks like only 1 TH and 1 pair of LC.

Nice chunk of other bits on there though.

[Edit] Nice to see their package deals don't save you a dime, only the 5 extra seconds it takes to click the Update button in the cart. Well played GW, well played.

Ok, the Terminator sprue is interesting.

It has an Assault Cannon, Heavy Flamer and Cyclone, plus the new Plasma Cannon. Only one Thunder Hammer and one set of Lightning Claws from what I can see (if I've missed more please let me know). Still, I like the kit.

I'd thought the Terminators were going to US$50 from an older post in the rumours thread--at $60 they're about as much as a Tartaros squad from Forge World! The bits do look nice, though.

I think we had this discussion in the HH thread, or maybe it was the GW pricing thread in General.... either way, yes, Forgeworld is starting to look like more of a value everyday.

I'm still confused how GW dropped the price $5 on the Battleforce, but then raised it at least $2 on the "new" Finecast version of the old metals.

Someone in Accouting must be slipping. Surely that Battleforce should be $125.

I'd thought about getting two Deathwing squads, but I think I might get one Deathwing and one Tartaros. Then I can use the Tartaros as the command squad, the Deathwing box for Knights, and leftovers to customise other Terminators.

True, but it looks like they wanted to fit bits for a new squad type and the command squad into the box and include the CML. Seems a fair trade in a way, the box is only so big, though I wouldn't mind if it were 2 boxes. Least it would be if it weren't for the price hike, which unfortunately doesn't reflect still only getting 5 models out of the deal really but oh well. Deathwing have a box once again.

Guess I will have to pick one of these up even though I have more than enough Terminators... just wonder what to build out of it.

I think it may just be the way the detail on the legs draws a bit more attention from the eye too it, they otherwise appear to have the right proportions to me.
