Hi everyone!
I've been lurking on this forum for a while now, and inspired by some of the amazing examples set by certain project logs on here, I have finally decided to work on a space marine force i had built in the dying days of 5th edition. Here are my humble wares:

Not much to cnc, your painting is pretty great! Only thing though - are the eyes on the second guy the same colour as his Mohawk? It seems rather weird that they're both green, it becomes sort of distracting

Well, the colour scheme is based on red with green accents, so green eyes and helmet plumes - I do agree that from the picture, it does look a bit odd.

Nice color scheme. What are you calling your chapter? (or did I miss something?)

Regarding your green: I use the same colors for example on leather and armour. But then I make sure to dull the leather down, or that the armour stands out. You can see it on my Bad Moon boyz (link in sig).

That's a good point, I haven't thought of a badass enough name for them yet, but probably something along the lines of Crimson Templars due to the repeated cross motifs etc.

The sterngaurd's amazing, really like the green cloth on the shoulder. Had a chemistry exam myself this week, hope it went well . Anyway keep up the good work.

So I didn't get much done over the weekend, mainly cus of this badboy:


I'll finish building and priming it over the week, and hopefully begin to paint on friday...

What exam? I had the AS AQA Chem 1 test on thursday.

Oh God, I remember Chem 1... I feel for you guys.
Loving the Storm Talon though, nice highlights going on.

So more than half a year and some mediocre exam results later, I've finally found some time to update this ole blog with.... not a whole lot
