The white is just the right shade for deathwing. The only thing I would say is drill out the stormbolter barrels or at least paint them in, the flat metal block on the front of the bolters is glaringly obvious and draws the eye away from the rest of the otherwise excellent paintjob.

Great job. I'm about to start painting mine soon and I'll be happy if I can get them to look even half as good as these.

My only nitpick would be to drill the bolters as Daedricbob said. It's surprising how much of a difference that little touch makes.

Just want to ask - How exactly do you do the drilling?

Do you recommend an electric drill? Or perhaps manual hand-drill? Stupid question maybe, but I want to seriously take your advice on drilling the gun nozzles...

I just bought a cheap pin vice drill on ebay. Cost about $7 and came with a big range of different sized drill bits. It's almost like a pen, you just hold it in your hand and gently twist.

For the technique I watched YouTube videos until I got the hang of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhHzmE6xjMQ there are a ton of videos. I used a smaller bit than the dude in this video I and I did the sides first so that when I did the front it just popped through.

Very important to make sure you hit the exact centre of your guns though. I messed up one or two of mine and got them off centre and they probably look worse than if I'd just left them flat silver.
