I have a 2k DeathWing vs. DraigoWing match coming up, and I think deathwing has a decided advantage considering the overall base AP of the army is 2 and Greyknights have a ton of mixed force weapons in their list and even if they went all demon hammer, I have far more storm shields, anyhow. I was trying to decide between the Deathwing standard which is very nice +1 attack inner circle, got to love that, or the Standard of fortitude. FNP for everyone in 12 inches. The thing is, I think most my failed saves/wounds will probably be from demon hammers, so that makes me think the FNP isn't that great. Mathwise, its going to be a murder fest, the extra attacks may not be needed. Thoughts/Votes? Which standard? I am leaning Deathwing standard right now, finish the fights faster, and avoid the need for FNP rolls.

Agreed. Anything that's getting through your armor is going to be ignoring FNP anyway (either due to double strength or force weapon). You do have the edge with storm shields, especially since the main strength of Paladins is their 2 wounds...your hammers take that away.

Yes, I assume, it works for bikes.

Yes they would retain FNP if you were just dealing with plain thunder hammers, however the all the GK CC weapons (halberds, swords, and hammers) are force weapons as well, and per the latest FAQ from GW the instant death from force weapons negates FNP
