The Orlock land train seemed pretty lazy tbh, an open topped shoebox dragging munitorum containers.

Excellent, so Necro-Morka is on the way. Wonder if they'll try to implement a rolling battlefield instead of a fixed setup.

So, from the trailer, I'm expecting a box-featuring Orlock gangers with a new vehicle against Ash Waste Nomads.

Wondering how closely the Nomads are going to look compared to their "recent" concept art.

That would be nice, but this is the GW that gave Orks six individual, monobuild vehicle kits instead of a customisable buggy... so it seems more likely that they'll release an Orlock Trademarkwagon, an Escher Copywritomobile, a Golioth AdjectiveTruck and so on...

Wasn't all that interested in Necromunda but that trailer was good. Immediately thought of the Genestealer Cults with all their vehicles...

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

Not sure that’s cost effective for a game the size of Necromunda though. Make say, 3 generic vehicle. Bike,Buggy, Truck. Release personalisation kits related to existing gangs (driver torsos, emblems), sell a separate sprue of weapon upgrades akin to Gorkamorka. Lesser outlay when everyone shares the same basic kit, especially as vehicles can be two or three full sized sprues.

They could to a rolling battlefield for certain fights, Mad Max style. Hopefully, the vehicles are generics with gang decals or sprue add ons

Hoping for generic vehicles too with gang specific sprues to personalise them.

Yes, but also leaving space for cooler vehicles and upgrades down the line ...

Also is anybody else seeing a motorcycle with a sidecar in the central silhouette here? Is it just a mirage?

Possible, definitely some sort of dune buggy

Also, here's some rumour engine teases that could be part of the Ash Wastes expansion:

That first one definitely looks like the front of the train ...

Seems kinda' telling that the train in the animation stops right before the gak goes down ... No chase scene, no raiders jumping between moving vehicles ...

I was thinking something very similar with the rolling battlefield as it would allow for the gangs to be guards on a massive rolling platform that you can fall off without having to actually create a specific model for such a large vehicle. If that isn't in the rules I'm sure some enterprising person will add it fairly quickly

Some of the recent gang additions (jump packs and hover boards) make a lot more sense now there's an outdoors to worry about as well. Looking forward to this one

I figure they were copying cowboys and indians so the waggon train pulled itself into a protective circle rather than try and out-run a clearly faster opponent.

Of course then the opponent brought explosives!

That bit did feel a little weird. You're on a giant moving platform... why would you stop?

I'm actually thinking Beasts of Burden. The concept art were going that direction and it would differentiate Nomads from the main House Gangs.

I get the doubt, but they did release an extremely generic marketplace for Necromunda recently, as opposed to a Necropurchasesphere or something.

I knocked this together quickly in MS Paint but I think 2 of the rumour engines are almost certainly the land train.

Already quite happy that the trailer showed us glimpses of a generic truck big enough to carry Munitorum containers.

I'm not convinced by the wheel- looks much too thin for such a heavy vehicle, especially compared to the chunkiness of the animated wheels. I think the wheel is more likely for an associated buggy with similar design cues.

Nicely done

I'm now looking at this wondering if it's possible to convert to a Squat Land Train!

I... really enjoyed that trailer. Glad that I didn't got up for that... but watching it afterwards certainly was a nice goodie with my morning coffee.

I got a confirmation about something I really look forward for. And it indicates things that are in line with the rumour pictures and indicate the direction this might go...

Way to go GW... Thumbs up from me.

The trailer was very cool. I just can’t believe they didn’t even show one (1) model.

If we're really getting vehicle mode, I wonder if GCS will be the first to get an update, say WD article. They are already like 90% ready to go.

Really? Trucks carrying really heavy loads, like ICBMs have quite similar wheels so I don't see how a few containers might be too much:

Yeah, trucks don’t have huge fat wheels, they have lots of little ones side by side to spread the load and minimise the impact of any one puncture.

Looked good to me, felt very Borderlands influenced in the animation, but that's not a bad thing
